Any C63's in the Northeast? - Track Day at New England Dragway - Friday 8/1
If anyone has taken delivery of one of the beasts and would like to show it off and maybe even run it, a few fellow AMG owners will be meeting at the New England Dragway the Friday night.
Would be great to see how the C does against an E and CLS...

Hey i took delivery not long ago and have run it in a little, not sure about tracking it but would definately be interested in coming down... more details pls?

Hi,
It is in Epping NH which is about 10 minutes over the boarder. It is a pretty easy drive, up 95 North to 101 in NH. The track is right off the highway. It is usually in excellent shape. Let me know if you will be making it.

As it sounds like this is new to you, you really should give it a try. Our AMG's are at there best on the 1/4 mile track. Everyone gets excited to see them show up.

No, nothing at all. It is very easy and very fun. The only thing you will need is a helmet. You can certainly borrow mine if you do not have your own.

Sorry for the delayed response, it got crazy around here. Great news. You will have a great time. We are going to get there around 4PM, if you want to meet somewhere that is on your way I am happy to do so. I should be with a couple of other cars as well. Where are you coming from in NY? No way...at least for me, it takes me at least an additional 25 mins to get there. NE dragway is a great place, weds and fri are street nights...the only problem is you gotta wait in line for a bit before each run since it gets packed pretty quick. Doors open at 5, races start at 6. Need helmet if your car does 13.99 or less 1/4 mile (therefore all you AMG folks need a helmet, they made me buy one on the spot when I tried to sneak w/o one)

75 / 80MPH = 10 or so minutes.So, now that you have a helmet, want to join us?
