I love it! When done right, NOS is one of the best mods (bang for buck) there is.
I have found that folks who talk crap about NOS don't have a freaking clue and only talk based on ignorance.
I had NOS in many applications and NEVER EVER had any issues...NEVER!!!

Nitrous started to be used in EUROPE so I don't understand your "Euro drivers thinking they have Civics" comment.
I'd suggest you read up on nitrous before making assumptions based on TV movies lol
PS:
Look up what Luftwaffe and British airplanes were using during WW2

I had Nitrous in my first c63. Was running stage 2 header file from OETUNING. No nitrous file. Ran a 75 shot with stand alone fuel cell filled with c16. Had a progressive controller for it. Setup was a little more on the expensive side but I never half *** anything. If done right you can get 560+whp and HUGE jump in torque for under 2k... that’s a ton bang for your buck considering blowers cost 4x the amount lol and add a ton of heat soak. The only issue I have with it is... the constant monitoring and making sure everything is 100%.

What were you doing with regards to the constant monitoring? Leakdown tests? Compression tests?
Sounds like you had a nice set up. TBH if you're running that kinda hit on such a big motor with 8 cylinders and you're also using a fuel cell, I wouldn't worry much at all about monitoring after you've completed some initial testing to ensure all is well.
If it makes you feel better, I run nitrous on my built Celica motor, running a static compression ratio of over 14.5:1, on pump fuel and a very aggressive tune. However I only use a small 60hp hit....15hp direct-port into 4 cylinders.

Haha, yes it can certainly get expensive if you use it regularly. For racing it's fine, because the benefits in fuel economy when running NA will be better than full-time FI.
Also, it is possible to have a system set up so that if the fuel solenoid doesn't fire (for whatever reason), the nitrous solenoid won't fire either. I used to have that on my car, but when I took it apart one time, I forgot how it was meant to be rigged up again.
Be sure to do a review of your SC set up vs Nitrous....it'll be interesting to read.
