How intrusive is ESP on C63

Just curious - is it possible to turn off ESP completely on the C63? Or is still inter"fearing" ???

The C63 was the first AMG to offer full control of ESP. You can turn it off completely if you wish to.

With ESP on, you basically can't spin the tires, whip it around corners or anything like that. It'll take the throttle right out under your foot.

In "Sport" mode, you can have a little more fun i.e. peel out when you floor it, and screech around the corners.

With ESP off, you're asking for trouble.

ESP is not the problem..

its the torque converter..

hopefully in do time the Dual Clutch Trans will make it to the C class model.

Heck 335i's will have a DSG for 2009. (in Europe at least)

Drove the EVO X MR last night and my god the Dual Clutch Tranny in that car was out of this world. It was beyond amazing.

Also ran into the bmw guys testing the next generation Z4 as they took a break in Malibu. They had 4 X5 an M3 DCT and the new Z4. Checked out the Z4 and it looks pretty nice. Inside was a nice progression over the current model. It had the DCT box from the look of the shifter.

If MBZ released the MCT for the C63 you guys would be in heaven. I really think this is one of the best transmissions out there. The DSG are heavy and you can't put a **** load of torque through them.
