It's not that I don't like it, what you've done is the forum equivalent of fighting your way all the way up the beaches of Normandy on D-day, only to turn around and shoot your comrades at the top.

Botom line is it appears you are leasing the car, who cares what is it going to be worth in 3 years, for $100 or so bucks a month you should have bought the car that you loved and not settled for a run of the mill non-M Bimmer.
You can spin this however you like to make yourself feel better, but at the end of the day you settled over $100-$200 a month, if $100 a month is gonna break you you should not be shopping for $70k cars to begin with.

It's fine, and significantly faster than your 650, which you're paying twice as much for. It's not my money though, whatever you think is best for you; apparently it was purely an economic decision -- and not a decision based on performance/value, etc.

the 5 series (again in my opinion-no body cry now) has been around for a while!
i understand they touched iti up a bit a year or 2 ago......but it still looks almost the same as the prvious 5 series
in any case, its a great car, just not my preference

Car leasing 101, the BMW is obviously not worth more than the C63, in fact it is quite the opposite, BMW is discounting the 6 series because it is actually worth less. One more thing, I think you are looking at a 2009 C63 vs a 2008 (now a model year old) 650, go back to the BMW dealership and have them throw some numbers together for a 2009 650 and see what they come up with.

The 6 series has been around since 2004 if I'm not mistaken, there is nothing new or fresh about it.

I guess we'll have to agree to disagree. I'm not trying to be offensive, it's still an awesome car, just not what I would have chosen. I'd have forked over a little more an gone with the M6, or stuck with the C63.

I don't know how you are coming up with $1450 a month with $11k down. I just used 3 different lease calulators I found online for a C63 and none of them were $1450 even with NO MONEY DOWN! Sounds to me like you need to do some more investigating and maybe find a MB dealer to sell you the car at MSRP, because your $1450 figure is about $10k over MSRP

ZERO down, and with NY taxes included IN the payment
this price was $1500 BELOW MSRP, with more room to negotiate
