***anyone want my C63???***
ok, finally.......here it is
first off let me start by saying the residuals and money factors on the C63 suck-*** !!!!!
My car: White on Black, Every option, Carbon Fiber, FULL Performance Package
In Production NOW.......Mid-Sept Delivery
MSRP: $72,650
Discount: Anywhere from $1500 off MSRP MINIMUM up to 2000-2500 off MSRP ........ but $1500 OFF MSRP is MINIMUM !!!!!
Here are the lease quotes I got :
(I was told to try back on Sept 2nd, as there will be updated Money Factors, and Residuals at that time.....also, there is only 27 & 36 month terms available......he said maybe in September, there will be 39 months)
Anyways,
36 months
12k a year
$1,300 Plus Tax
$1,440 with NY tax included
Please keep in mind these #s are with only a $1,500 discount, and at todays Money and Residuals
I'm confident there is more room to negotiate off of sticker price
***The reason I am passing is because ME PERSONALLY I rather pay $1320 for a 91k BMW with better terms, than $1440 for a 72k Merc***
why is a 72k car more than a 92 k car i dunno........but i already made my choice, and my 650 convert. will be here next week
If anyone of you guys want this car, please PM me or let me know, and I'll give you my dealers contact info....
Its pretty much first come, first serve.......who ever leaves MB a deposit first has dibs on the car
**SOMEHOW I KNEW THIS THREAD WOULD GET OUT OF HAND**

just my 2 cents......
at this point in time, it is waaaaaaaaaaaaaaay better to BUY this car than it is to LEASE it
good luck all, this thing is obviously a beast, and the HUGE demand for this car is probably why the leases are so pricey

Aside from the validity of the poster and his comments, the lease prices aren't great due to the economic standard/rut we have fallen into. Many dealers and car companies alike are emphasizing the costliness of leasing while they want their customers to buy rather than obviously lease.
Bet you if you wanted to buy the car, they would be more willing to negotiate.

no, not for nothing......i had fun.....and thats what counts !!!
seriously tho, can you blame me??
why would i pay $120 more per month, for a longer term, and for a car that 20k less ???
i dunno about you, but that makes absolutely NO SENSE to me what so ever!
i think the only way to get the C63 is to buy or finance, lease deals are horrendous

Lease vs. Finance/Buying
Don't know for sure but I feel even with the horrible #'s on lease rates right now, to me, it could still be worth it to lease the AMG's than to buy. So far, with my experience (C55 & E55) a person is usually completely upside down when financing than leasing b/c of the HUGE hit one takes on these higher end cars. Most likely a person is ready to step out of one in about 3 years anyhow. So it really does depend on how long you're willing to hang on to the car. That and factoring in trying to sell these cars...a BIG pain. Leasing these cars is the way to go IMO.
You're right though about the #'s for MB vs. BMW right now...makes perfect sense to get the BMW and pay less for a car that is stickered for $20K more! I'd probably do the same thing!

i mean dont get me wrong, if i got the C63 im sure i would love it.....
but any remorse i would have would be at the lease price/terms, not due to the car in anyway
buying and leasing are 2 diff things....if i was buying.....obviously the C63 is 20k cheaper........but to lease, its more expensive than a 92k 650...go figure!!
thanks Elaine, wanna ride in my new converty????

Holy crap! lots of responses. Buy the car dude. Mine is $62K w/o PP, $11K down, $51K @ 4.3% 60 months. Just under $1K per month... no problem. I won't go 60 months, but I have never seen the advantage to leasing. But that's just my opinion... I know lots of people that prefer the lease.

it didnt fail......i would still get the car a few Gs under MSRP
but the dealer can controll money factors and residuals
i just like to think i got a better deal on the bimmer
black on black 08 650 convert, 30 months, 10k per year....$1320 TAX INCLUDED, no money down

Wow man, chimp status confirmed. 1,200 posts for NOTHING. You touted how awesome this car was forever and dropped it because you couldn't afford the damn thing.

I don't think it would be that he can't afford it, but some seems don't make financial sense. If you can get another good car for cheaper then what's the problem?
