***anyone want my C63???***

I don't know how you are coming up with $1450 a month with $11k down. I just used 3 different lease calulators I found online for a C63 and none of them were $1450 even with NO MONEY DOWN! Sounds to me like you need to do some more investigating and maybe find a MB dealer to sell you the car at MSRP, because your $1450 figure is about $10k over MSRP
That was me that did $11K down.

You will realize you made a mistake the first time a guy in a C63 pulls up next to you and blows your doors off!

That's funny, I don't care who you are! Dude, LE, really, you have wanted this car for a long time. Did you change your mind about the car? Cause if not, you need to still get it. If you like the Bimmer better, then get that one. But you really need to get what you really want and save the bargain hunting for mom in the grocery store.

but look for the tall dude with 3 chicks in the back of the converty!
LOL
seriously, money is not all that went into it
im also 6'6'' 230lbs...so that helped too as the 650 is MUCH roomier
also, if the C63 was substantially less then the 1320 im paying for the bimmer i wouldve gotten it
the final straw was that it was substantially MORE!

well 1300 is pretty much the MOST i wanna pay for a car
i thought with the merc, that worst case it would be 1250
you also have to take into consideration, what else is available in your price range
i just think its INSANE to lease a C63 for 1400 a month!!!
if you guys dissagree with that i dont know what else to say!

I do......you might not....but im only looking to lease, not to buy
if i was buying, i wouldve went with the merc for 110% as it wouldve been 20k less

What's the point of leasing if you're gonna keep it 60 months? I leased an '01 S55 AMG for 60 months and I regretted it. Personally I find 36-39 months a good amount of time. Just me though.

Car leasing 101, the BMW is obviously not worth more than the C63, in fact it is quite the opposite, BMW is discounting the 6 series because it is actually worth less. One more thing, I think you are looking at a 2009 C63 vs a 2008 (now a model year old) 650, go back to the BMW dealership and have them throw some numbers together for a 2009 650 and see what they come up with.
Botom line is it appears you are leasing the car, who cares what is it going to be worth in 3 years, for $100 or so bucks a month you should have bought the car that you loved and not settled for a run of the mill non-M Bimmer.
You can spin this however you like to make yourself feel better, but at the end of the day you settled over $100-$200 a month, if $100 a month is gonna break you you should not be shopping for $70k cars to begin with.

You could have bought either one of those listed above and spent less, but it is your money as stated. Go figure and to each his own.

Hmm.. I'm not really sure what the point would be. Who would do such a thing? I am buying, my loan is for 60 months, but I'll pay it off in about ..... edit: 40 (not 50)

Do you think all of the dealers have a profile of this clown to run away so he does not waste their time??? Imagine going through all sorts of sales work and wasted time on LE.... I imagine this is going to happen to a BMW guy within the next week.

Yeah, most people like to waste time and resources on a non-buyer. So if you are really in an investment role, what if you had some big clients lead you on and then never pull the trigger?? Hmm....

For the record, whatever you decide good luck. You're the only one driving it so d@mn the rest of us!
However, I've never understood the theory "I can get car X for the same price and the MSRP is y higher!". Well, to me, ultimately MSRP is a random number of sorts. MSRP is just a "guesstimate" of what car makers hope a car is worth (i.e., the MSRP that leads to the highest "sales volume * MSRP"). If they were selling the 650 vert for an MSRP of $140k, and you were still getting it for $1,400 would you feel any better? I hope not, it'd still be the same car. So, just because a 650 MSRP's for $20k more, and you are paying the same monthly pmt, doesn't by itself make it a better deal.
I personally, would take the C63 over the 650 vert, even if they were both selling for $65k. Of course, the business side would tell me to buy the 650, sell it for $75k, and then buy the C63 for $65k.
Ultimately, it's a matter of personal taste. I'd think you'd be disregarding price (which shouldn't be a factor, since the $$ outlay is the SAME). It should come down to what makes you want the 650 vert over the C63 for the same $$?

i pulled the trigger, i just happened to do so when there WAS NO PRICES FOR 09s
had the dealer told me in advance, that this car would be $1440 a month, i would not have wasted his time
instead his exact words to me where; "order the car, and if its to expensive i'll find someone else to take it"
