Pricing Experiences on Financed C63 AMGs

I just got a quote from a local dealer. He said he would give the car to me for 5% off MSRP which comes to $62,235 (MSRP= $65,510).

I think I'm going to take it. I'm going to finance through my Insurance company, State Farm @ 5.19% for 48 months.

Anybody have any comments? Does this sound like a good deal?

I like the deal too. I just have to convince my wife that it's a good deal.

the 5% off of MSRP sounds good, but the 5.19% doesn't.

what's MBFinancial's rate on it?

Really?! You don't like the 5.19%? I thought that was good. My credit union quoted me 5.25%. I'm financing, not leasing.

I haven't checked with MB financial. You think they can offer a better rate. FYI - I'm going for 60 & 72 month options.

I appreciated your feedback.

I'm honestly not too sure. I think that perhaps since the C63 is pretty hot right now that they won't be willing to give something as low as 1.9%, but I think MBFinancial might be able to do 4.9%. Don't quote me though, maybe the lower rate would be for a shorter term.

I just don't like the 5.19% because I've been looking at M5's and M6's for 0.9% and Z06's for 0%. I also know the E63's were going for 0.9%.

Good luck and keep us updated!

All those other cars have to do low apr's to move them, in a year they will be outdated. Other than the Z06 the M5, M6 and E63 will have new body styles next year.

So are you saying I should take the 5.19%? because MB Finance won't beat it?

I appreciate your feedback.

What color combo?

Did you get the AMG Performance Package (174 MPH)?

Care to discuss price paid?

I appreciate your feedback and congrats on the purchase.

that's exactly true. even the Z06 will be outdated in 2010. but, the M3 is going for about 4.25 - 4.5% right now. I would hope that the C63 would be about there as well.

White/Black w/ PP but it only includes LSD and 174 mph limit. I am paying $66k.
I am leasing so I don't know what MB Financial's APR will be on a financed purchase. MB financial's lease rates aren't very good so I am not leasing through them. It should be delivered early next week.

i hope it's ok to chime in with a quick question.

i'll be able to take delivery on the car this wednesday and i got the final price along with the vin number. so i need to car my insurance and get the car on there but i don't know what my rate is yet. probably will know when i get to the dealer. but should i be shopping now to try and find a good rate or would it be ok to take the rate the dealer gives me for financing, take the car, and then look for a better rate if available to refinance the car?

Are you getting Multimedia or Upgraded AMG Seats? How about iPod or Teleaid, or P2 Pkg (lighting, wipers, sunshade) etc?

Just picked up my car tonight. I had planned on leasing but the rates are pretty bad all around right now (even though my dealer would match any rate I found on the net). Plus after seing it parked in the delivery bay and taking a quick spin I just knew this will be a car I'll keep for a while. So in the end I financed instead.

I knew before hand that I might finance so I pre-qualified with my credit union at 4.75% - 60 months. The dealer matched it even though I don't think it will be through MBUSA. This is the 2nd car I have purchased from them so they really went out of way their making sure the deal was clean and simple. It probably also helped that this was at MSRP. It's next to impossible to get any discount here in Scottsdale AZ. I'm fine with that - the dealer was great and at 4.75% I'm happy as can be:

Iridium Silver
Black Leather Package
NAV
Ipod

Once I spend some more time with it I'll post pictures and a review. Good luck on your purchase.

Did you confirm that your Performance Pkg upgrade comes with the brakes, suspension and steering wheel? Not sure if you heard about some of the earlier 2009 models that were released. The was code error issue. You can read about it on this ebay post: http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/Merce...Z1218511623320

It's towards the bottom of the page. I'm having mine ordered from the factory.

into things
BMW Financial has hinted they they are getting hit hard with current lease contracts and therefore are pushing for lease buyouts at end of term and finance incentives for purchase. They are trying to offer 0-0.9% APR (M5, M6, etc.) in hopes to decrease the percentage of leasing contracts. I believe MB is doing the same thought by making only the leases much higher.

I'm originally from Oregon so we still use 1st Tech Credit Union in Portland/Beaverton. Which AZ dealer are you working with? C63s are selling like crazy at Schumacher. There was a white on the floor Friday (it arrived Wed/Thursday) and it was gone by the time I went in today. A few weeks ago they had a silver one just like mine (with added premium package) that also sold very quickly. The person who ordered it backed out.

I probably should have shopped around the valley for a better price but I have always had a good experience at Schumacher. Plus it's part of their standard deal that if you special order you pay MSRP (I ordered mine a few months ago). Oh well, like some one else said on this forum I don't mind paying more if I'm getting good service and support :-)

i'm actually getting it from a California dealer. I'd rather not say exactly who until the deal is complete. I had the option of having it shipped to me for $750 or I could come and pick it up, license it and drive it home. I'm going for the drive it home option. I'm so excited to drive it in the desert home.

It will cost me $500 to take my wife and I to Cali for one night, gas home, and Subway for 24 hours. THe drive home should make it worth it alone.

Awesome!! That way you can also get most of the break in period out of the way. We are planning a trip to Vegas or So Cal just so we can get the first 1,000 miles out of the way as fast as possible. LOL!

All in all it looks like you getting a very good deal. Low 5% is still good - I couldn't find anything near my 4.75% locally. Your going to love this car!!
