Whats faster e55 stock or c63

A stock E55 will easily dispatch a stock C63. The E55 have been averaging 12.30s to 12.40s, but almost all runs that were attempted in optimum weather conditions resulted in 11.80s to 11.90s runs bone stock.
Now once the C63 gets ECU-Tuned, then the game will definitely be more leveled. But then again, you're back at comparing stock to modified.

All shifts (especially the 1-2) are inconsistant. Sometimes I can shift the 1-2 at 6800rpm in manual mode and it won't hit the rev limiter, other times I shift at 6600rpm and it whacks the limiter.

Thats funny hax? Is that how it really went down. You forgot to mention we raced 0-150mph and I had about 1 1/2 to 2 cars on you. The first roll we did was 25 -140 but you never were at my side, you were right behind me but not side by side. Third roll I started on 2nd gear instead of first which was a big mistake by me which gave you 1 1/2 on me. 4th roll as i took the lead you hit the brake because your tire's were spinning. You don't have to feel bad for what your gonna do to my E55 at all, mod's on a car isn't a stock vs stock race anymore.
Nng a new transmition and new tires when I get it back. I can't wait to see u

Well I can say one thing about the M mode shifts, the C63's delay is minimal compared to the E55. Literally seems like 3 seconds pass before the E55 will select a higher gear after pressing the button. While the C63's shifts aren't instant in M mode, it sure feels like it after driving the E55 in M mode.

to the OP get some camera runs this time, i still feel the same i did, the C63 traps a bit less, and just doesnt have the power to outrun the e55, im sure you can stick with him, esp weight and extra gear advantages. the 7 speed keeps the C63 in the power band, as the E55 just feels as if it needs a extra gear to stay on power in higher speeds.
but sunday i might take out the C63 and the E55 and run em. the 335i tuned, intake can stick with my C63 which i ran a 12.72 in, my 335i ran a 12.75 on 93 octane, ran a 12.53 on 100 octane, but the C63 still traps higher. i never brought my E55 to the track but im sure in stock trim i can run a sub 12.5 and trap higher then both my c63 and 335i.
final verdict, E55 by 1 car to 100mph or so. rolling run, 1 car from 40-130.
GL and be safe guys, at the end of the day your bought car lovers

im not ganna say nothing about how you were 1 1/2 to 2 car in front of me which you were not. more like 1 car and by the time we hit 150 my front bumper was at your front door. thats all with bold tires and a bad trany.
by the way if anyone has a c63 and when in sportmode driving regular , when u go to a full stop, if you feel you trany switching from 2nd to 1st with a loud bang bring that to get fixed. i had that problem since 10 miles on my car and now found out that my 1,2,3,4 gears are messed up and now getting a new trany hehe

I have a C63 and have test driven an E55, but have no experience in anything head-to-head.
I did do some internet research across "Road and Track", "Car and Driver" and "MotorTrend". The numbers for those magazines quote very similar 1/4mile (12.5sec) and 0-60 (4.3sec) and 0-100 (9.7sec) average times. There were variances, but neither car was consistently faster.

click on test sheet that car had a full gas tank and only 1900miles

On the other hand, some people have gotten really close to hitting perfect shifts almost every time. Although, it may take too much time (and too much gas), it's generally possible to find that sweet spot that defines the best compromise between the two.

Yep saw that one. As a C63 owner I framed it.
I kinda threw out the highs and lows of each mag article.
It seems that in general the cars posted very similar times in tests across those magazines. Certainly, Car and Driver got a great 60 time out of the C63. I wonder if there is a shift point issue on the E55 as the 1/4 mile split was 0.2 sec and trap speeds were identical.
MotorTrend had an AMG wagon that pulled 4.1 / 12.3. Car and Driver also got better times from the Wagon 4.1 / 12.5.

i made the side by side with my C63 vs E55
rolling start 60/70km/h 2º gear at 180/220km/h
and the C63 AMG is more faster, the big diference is in gear box of C63AMG, the E55AMG´gear box is more slow for change the gears when comparing with C63
the videos are coming soon!!!

aleatory...by chance, are you a linguist ?

For example, one time the car will shift from 1st to 2nd in 0.2 seconds and another time it may shift at 0.3 seconds. This makes a big difference when you're trying to shift near the rev limiter. Of course, if you do hit the rev limiter, then you're run is over.
