MHP TCM Tuning!
We now have total control of the W7A700 TCM. Shift points, shift firmness, converter lock up speed, etc. are some of the new variables we can now manipulate. If you want your WOT shifts to hit at 7300-7500rpm (or any other rpm) every time this is for you. We can also control WOT shifting (whiplash firm, or whatever you desire) and part throttle shifting (turn it up or leave it stock, your call).
TCM tuning is like PCM tuning in that we need you to ship us your TCM (or a spare cal'd to your VIN which we can do). Turn around time is 5-7 days from the time we recieve your TCM.
Please keep in mind that all TCM tuning is 100% custom and created with your vehicle, and it's exact modifications in mind. You will not be able to sell your tuned TCM to another 6.3 owner, as they are simply that specific.
There will be 2 stages of TCM tuning.
Stage I: Mildly modified vehicles including stock longblock, stock shortblock N/A applications: $1600.00
Stage II: If you're making an insane amount of power and/or send us a laundry list of exactly how everything must work: $2000.00
Please note that pricing reflects the large amount of time it takes to properly reflash a TCM.
Thanks
Andy

So help me understand...
I plan to remove the Catalytic Converters (in such a way that they can be re-installed), add headers, do the VRP mods (Underdrive Pulleys, Air Filters, Phenolic Heat Spacers, Intake Air Temperature Sensor), and then I was going to do an ECU upgrade. So I would just tell you those things and you would program accordingly???
Your pricing looks fine, but if I don't have or don't want to buy a 2nd ECU, then am I out a car for a week? Also, what happens if I take the car to get serviced (likely since everyone is getting "check engine light" issues) and they re-flash the ECU... I have to send it back to you again for another week without my car?
Lastly, how should I or others look at your install in relation to others out there - there are the big and expensive ones (Renntech, MBK, etc.) and then there are smaller shops that actually dyno the car as part of the mods to make sure that they get the setup "maximized".
Sorry for all the questions.

If your dealer ever reflashes over your modified ECU/TCM we'll redo your tuning for free.

Sorry for all the questions.
My personal C63 will continue to serve as our guinea pig as we bring forth other products (CAIs, longtubes/exhaust, ported intake manifolds, and finally ported heads and cams). Along the way we'll retune accordingly to make sure each and every combination is optimized to it's fullest potential.
Rest assured that if I'm putting my name on the product/products, they're going to deliver as promised.
Dyno and track results will be presented in each case as well.
What I'm attempting to bring forth is a new level of performance for Mercedes/AMG owners at reasonable pricing. That IMO has yet to be achieved in this market.
NP on the questions, keep them coming.
Thanks!

can't wait! I hope I can get a steal of a deal on that spare ECU from you (after all who gave you the heart attack on telling you renn's price lol!)
Cheers.

It's looking like we'll be taking orders for both ECU and TCM tuning next week.
Thanks

My honest suggestion is to start using the terms TCU & ECU. Specially if you want to cover all MB models. Most of us are familiar with those terms.
Good luck and looking forward for the results.

Andy,
What are the numbers on the ECU retune? I would be happy replicating the programming for the ML/E/S63s and thought that was what Kleeman was doing - you raise a few interesting issues - would love your thoughts.

We're doing ECU and TCU tuning on my car at the same time. We're presently working on getting them to both work in harmony to produce the best possible results. I'm presently probing for another C63 tester to do just the TCM reflash (not both ECU + TCU like mine) so we know exactly what it's worth by itself.
I put down 376rw bonestock with 1200 miles on the DynoJet two days ago. SAE, smoothing 5 corrected, fifth gear (1:1) runs. I'll post the stock dyno and A/F info in the next few days, then the modified data shortly after.
Being that Kleeman doesn't have any A/F data I don't see how we'll end up making any less power.

Hi, is the traction control linked to the tcm ? can you for example removed it completely when turned off so it doesn't kick in when I applie the brakes ?
My other question is can you improve the shift time in manuel mode or not ?
Thanks
