MSRP
I was at Euromotor cars on Saturday and they have 3 new C63s, two black, 1 silver and 1 used silver C63 with 370 miles. Salesperson did not want to negotiate on any of them and finally offered $1000 off of MSRP. None of them have the PP and I did not particularly want the PP. However after looking around, ther were several other very nice cars - 2007 550 SLs, S550s - that priced out lower than C63. Trying to decide if to go for the performance of the C63, despite the major hit on depreciation - car will be worth around $45000 in a year or by a nice benz that has already taken the hit.

that's why I have not taken the plunge......HBL wants msrp.....they wanted 2k over but knowing that I take my car there they went back to msrp....american service center in arlington..msrp........euro....msrp.......I found a dealer for 2500 under msrp........but cant' shed my current car so i'm locked up.........and we ALL know that youre right, in a year these C's will be worth 40's and we will be pissed we paid just for "have to have it" factor

I dont know if this isnt allowed - Admin - please let me know, but my dealer was MB of South Charlotte....my salesman was Torrey Tennent..
Although I have a dealer in Greenville, the Charlotte dealer made it worth my while to go up there...I got there 20 minutes to close and they were great to work with....

It's still a joke that they are even asking over MSRP. I guess they think the economy is better than it really is.........
Give it time and these will be readily offered at below MSRP. They are still playing into the hype of the car and the fact that there are those out there that don't care about paying MSRP or above.

I test drove the black one at Euro and was thinking about getting it, they said they would work a deal out. I went to HBL and test drove the new Audi S5, which I know its not in the same class as the C63 but we loved the look as there are not to many of them on the road. HBL would not move on $800.00. The total was $60,800.00 and I wanted to be at $60,000.00 and they would not sell. So I guess I will be looking again at the C63 but will shop ebay and other dealers to get the best deal.

It's funny how things change in a little over a weeks time. I now have three dealers in the DC area that are willing to deal below msrp......HBL is still sitting there but the others are all below

one of my dealer contacts said they now have 6 in stock as of today.....so that's 6...plus 3 others at their sister dealer...but several in silver spring...plus the black one at HBL....I have not asked Arlington lately but it seems a surplus is starting to occur. I have posed the question to them on pricing in relation to invoice...they have been good, 2500 off msrp but invoice is actually in the 50's......I want to say 58k (without looking it all up) so the first dealer to go there will get my business........it will happen before Halloween in my opinion

I bought mine in California a month ago and there were none to be
found. I bought one with the screwed up PP but I didnt really care.
Fletcher Jones in New Port had none and I couldnt find any
around till I found one in NoCal and they trucked it to me for free.
thats about $500-$1000 I didnt have to pay. In fact they
sent a guy to do the paper work in my living room!!! then
the car showed up on my door all for free.
It took 10 minutes to do the paper work. How come it takes
an hour and a half in a delaership to do the paperwork for a car?
I paid MSRP and nothing for the trucking.
the only thing I am missing is brake upgrade (the std AMG brakes are more than adequate. And the suspension. I dont what the difference is. But again
at my usage its not a biggie. I do have the LSD and the delimited top speed.
It sounds like there are more coming to the dealers now HOWEVER I dont think its like thousand of AMG C63s are showing up. Its a fairly rare car.
Its not an M3 for Gods sake

I paid MSRP no PP, Black on Black. (Fremont, CA) They have at least one or two a week. Now as for the used cars, do you really want to buy I used C63, E55 or E63? read this forum and tell me, they all beat the crap out of those cars, (Or just BS) the only safe one it will be S65 I don't think anyone who owns one will beat it.

I dont know what trucking company it was but it was Fletcher Jones of Freemont that sold it to me. When I told them i wanted it trucked they didnt hesitate. The guy that came down to do the paper work said that FJ of Freemont did this all the time.
They used some type of regular trucking because it got shipped down to San bernadino then got picked up and shipped to me.
I was pretty happy about that and will continue to do business with them if I get another one.
