That is a GREAT deal! Honestly sounds too good to be true. I received 5% off of MSRP only because I have family that works for AutoNation. Congrats on a great car and an even greater deal. WOW. Really though, wow!

When I signed my contract for the car back in June the MSRP was 53,800 and they stuck to it. P02 was 1,080 and 318 and 320 were 2,950 each. At the time there was no charge for the metallic paint, so I got lucky on that one, but gas guzzler at the time was 1,300 which went up to 2,100 and they are making me pay the extra 800. But since the prices bumped up since then my dealer is shelling out the difference of 2,100 so my final cost is 62,880 (64,980 total). MBUSA is not going to do a military discount on the C63... But, like AMGC60-3 said about the MSRP bump, all the packages bumped in price too. So folks over here now have even higher prices than my bumped up price!
Here is the price bumps that we have seen so far over here for the military sales (sorry not sure on the PP).... and according to an email to me from MBUSA no military discount in the C63 in the foreseeable future!

----------June-----September---Now
MSRP--53,800------55,100-----56,300
P02----1,080--------1,100--------?
318----2,950--------2,980--------?
320----2,950--------2,980--------?
GG-----1,300--------2,100-----prob 2,100

It can happen, with the car market as it is, prices are dropping fast. Dealers hate for cars to be on the lot, and the "gotta have it" factor is wearing off fast with many high end cars right now. I would like to see some proof though, i.e. dealer name, etc.

Wow, wish "MB" would be nice to us like "Volvo" and other companies, I live for my military discount.

I'm pretty sure the gas guzzler tax on the C63 has been $2100 since release of the model!

Ok ladies, since my attempt to provide information on the subject at hand on what is going on over here for us lying military folks did not come out clearly enough for suspicious eyes, let me provide some clarifications. I don't know what any dealers are doing stateside. I do know I am working with military sales. The prices I provided are the prices that were given to me (june) for my order, which is a signed contract done between me and the dealer. She gave me a 2008 MSRP for a 2009 car since MBUSA did not catch up to the military sales yet and the same goes for gas guzzler. All the rest of the prices are updated as best WE --- there a a couple more of us on here that can attest to my information --- have been given. As you know, dealers will work the deals that they see fit. I am not sure what the standard is, but this is what I got on my 09. Which is waiting for me to pick up in Stuttgart as we speak.

edit: i typed in frustration and made it make more sense

Well I'm glad that you paid what your paid, and should had a discount for being military, what I'm saying is that your prices don't jive, take the gas guzzler for ex, first that is a tax set by the federal gov, for a specific YEAR. 2007, 2008, 2009 etc, your tax quote, (in which by the way you should had to pay because it only applies to DOMESTIC SALES, not oversees) never the less is quote for the 2008 model, and so are all the the rest of quote, I delt enough with German Auto sales groups to know that they will screw you before they make a mistake, and to order a car without leather, its suicede for a dealer unless you paid cash in advance. One more thing if had bought your car directly for the dealer in Frankfurt for exemple a bet you you had a better deal. So for a summary: What you paid is not important you got a good deal its great. but all the prices quoted was for the 2008 model not for 09 I don't care what contract you signed, beware of that when you get your car. Enjoy your 2008 C63 AMG

I have to call on this one. A fully loaded car is ~$73k MSRP. Are you claiming you got a $12k discount?
DaGS1800 only has 4 posts - 3 of which are almost verbatim claims about this fairy tale deal. I vote for the ban stick.

Wait a minute....just to be clear you got a 2009 C63 correct? Not suspicious at all just wanted to be clear on what car you got.

BTW - Congrats on your C63!
