Those of you who have purchased your cars, where you able to get a price below MSRP? Several dealers in this area(VA, MD) have offered cars at MSRP and one, HBL, keeps adding an additional $2000 every time I have talked with them. I love the C63, but I do not want to purchase a car at MSRP and a year from now, see them available for $50K. I would rather take the hit on a used AMG SL55 or E55/63. What kind of deals are we getting, if any? You can even buy a new S550 for $14k off sticker. Different car, but a great deal.
I just took delivery of my 09 c63. Paid 500.00 over invoice. Price was 57 and change, car is lightly equipped and dealer made concessions to salvage the deal due to the performance pkg screw up.

I got mine from Euromotors Germantown for MSRP. I got the second 2008 C63 on their lot. The first one sold for 5k over MSRP so you just got to be able to talk with your salesperson and the sales director. I'm not sure if you can get below MSRP especially if you are in the DC area.
Jimlauden - did you pay 57 with taxes or without taxes? What does your car have?

Mine will be European Delivery, but the usual 7% discount doesn't apply to the C63. The dealer agreed to split it with me. So... Black maple, iPod, P2 and Multimedia will be $58,475. With gas guzzler T&L it will end up at $66.5 OTD.

Try mercedes of fredricksburg, got my 09 for under msrp. Kind of a far drive but the dealership was in the middle of no where and it looked like they hadnt sold a car in weeks. Also the dealership in alexandria might be a good choice, I dealt with them first, but they wouldnt budge on msrp so I went to fredricksburg, now they wont stop calling me telling me they are ready to make a deal. Good luck

You're right; don't ever buy the C63 above MSRP because they will be worth $40k in a year or two. However, because they're still too new and fairly in demand, it'll be hard to get too much of a discount off MSRP. I would aim for $1k to $2k off MSRP if you can. If not, just give it a month or two, then the dealer will be the one offering that deal.
On a side note, you should consider an E55, which you can get a decent one for $35 to $40k or an E63, which you can get a decent one for $55k to $60k.
Refuse to pay the $2100 gas guzzler tax that other cars don't have. I think the initital "gotta have it" buyers already have their C63s and dealers are more willing to deal now. Same thing happened a few months after the IS-F and M3s were released. Dealers initially played a hard line at sticker, but eventually had to start selling cars.
As of last week. Euromotors in Germantown had three on the lot. Two new, one black and the other white both w/o PP. The third was a used silver one with 500miles that someone apparently traded in for one with PP. They had these for about couple of weeks sitting there, so if they still have them I'm sure you can make a deal with them. However, none have PP.

Haha, the interesting thing about that silver one which was traded in for a 09 with PP is that the 09 didn't even have the whole PP package. I was up there the day the guy traded in the 08 for the 09. I don't think he knew about the whole PP issue considering I posted on this forum to figure out if the guy was on here, but I guess not.

The GGT is a federal tax. You pay in no matter what. If the dealer says he will "take off' the GGT, he is just giving you a discount somewhere else. I guess the bottom line is a discount no matter were it come from.

Thats what I meant. Reduce the price by $2100 off the bottom line.
Noticed that a whole bunch of C63's hit autotrader and cars.com this week. Did a boat just come over loaded with C63's? One dealer in NJ showing 8 in stock on their website.
