Does anyone know... If C63 emblems are adhesive or post type?

So for the side emblems (6.3L) and the rear emblems (C63 and AMG), does anyone know if they can come off with heat and leave no marks OR if they are the type with posts on the back and actually go through holes in the body panels?

Correct. Check my thread about my C63 photoshoot and you will see my debadged C63 (only in the rear, left the sides). If you need to know how to do it, I used a hairdryer to heat up the adhesive then took some dental floss to slide the adhesive away from the car.

Yes, they're adhesive. I took mine off for the clear film. They're very easy to put on and take off.

Thanks Guys.

I think I am going to remove them all. I don't like the 6.3L badges both in look and in accuracy (it's a 6.2L). I do kind of like the C63 and AMG in the back (let's people know what you have), but I think I like the "clean" look of it removed even better. Plus the exhaust tips and sound should let people know what you got...

Here's a picture with the side badge which I kept because I liked the way it looked. You can also see how the car looks with the rear badges off.

I did. Check out my thread on the main page where I listed that I removed all the emblems and replaced the amber side marker lights with clear marker lights...
