Hey AMGBeleza,
I have been dealing with Jeanette. Who have you been working with? Please let us know how your deal works out. I should be right behind you for payment. My factory delivery is scheduled for 24 OCT. When are you scheduled to pick up? Ihave sent e-mails to MBUSA as well as Jeanette at Torpedo Garage, but they won't answer until late Monday at the earliest. I have a black on black on order. What color(s) are you going with? Thanks in advance for the help

Believe it or not, I think I was the first to place an order for the C63 AMG thru TG. I put my deposit down back on 18 JUNE. I had a performance package equipped car set for 05 SEP delivery. It was, however the decontented PP, so I opted for a reorder. I was the one who told TG about the PP problem after I learned about it here.

Hey, if any of you guys stop by at Spangdahlem AB here in Germany, then let me know so I can see your 63....

That sounds nice. A neighbor of mine has a C300 with palladium and black leather. That color is very nice. I hope everything works in your/our favor. Best of luck with the price.

From what I understand, it wasn't until this year that AMG models were discounted at all. I hope to save a few thousand dollars compared to MSRP. The next week or so should give me the answer. When you talk to Torpedo, ask for Jeanette. She's nice, but is pretty much clueless when it comes to AMG. I believe it is just a job for her. She is nice and friendly though.

I just talked to Jeanette on Thursday in the office. Can't get the discounted paperwork because she has nothing in writing. Waiting till next week.

I could not agree with you more. I cannot believe that TG still does not have the price worked out. Since our cars are actually MBUSA production slots, maybe TG has to get them to go along with the pricing as well as Sindelfingen(MB HQ?) By the way, you sent that '09 price list to me a few weeks ago. I thought that was it, but it seems like we will have to wait until AMGBeleza gets his car. I should be no more than a week or two after him with my final payment. I sure would like to know.

Got it man, thanks! WTF guys? I can't believe she didn't share this with me! Don't know if I should say anything or not. That must have been a draft that hasn't been approved yet... I don't know. Apparently MBUSA is the one being difficult though, because they set the prices for the military sales. Honestly, I just want to pay and get my car. I can't believe I'm not picking up on monday!

BTW, since I have a VIN now I have access to the private lounge. And there are some pics of a C63 in the Affalterbach showroom in a Matte Silver paint. It is so HOT! I want that paint, I'll pay now for it. I posted a message on there but no response. I'd pay out of pocket to get that paint before my pickup.

Hey Man,
Thanks for the pic. I would say the color is a little darker than palladium. The matte effect is really nice. I did read somewhere that matte paint goes to s*** after a few dirt/wash cycles, but I sure do like how it looks in the showroom.

Yes, I have seen the Brabus Bullit, 720 hp.I am thinking that the matte color scheme is or could be something in the near future and I could be tempted to buy a car in matte, but how could you take care of it, I mean just a fingerprint would show.

It is different for sure. Cleaning and protecting the paint would present major challenges unless there is some kind of "wonder product" made just for matte finishes. Not to mention the additional cost. I'm pretty sure that it will cost more than a standard finish. I guess the question is "How much would you be willing to pay?"
