No way! Porsche RS Spyder all the way. I love it when the LMP2 guys take the overall win over Audi and their barge, I mean LMP1. ![word](https://mbworld.org/forums/images/smilies/werd.gif)
Why, thank you very much!

the fact remains that someone who owns a 335 has no business here unless he also owns a mercedes. oh yeah, why dont i go register on some bmw forum and post under the e36 m3 forum.
i honestly dont care what you say about mb vs bmw, one fact remains that mercedes currently beats out bmw on the nurburgring, take bmw's best and pit it against the best that mb has to offer, for the street, that is.

the clk black series and mclaren f1 tie at 7:45... theres 4 more MB's with a faster time than that. next best bmw time is 7:57 for the new M3, im curious to see what the c63 marked as i wasnt able to find any figures for that one...

you totally missed the point. these numbers are testament to the car's engineering and ability. Mb seems to be ontop of the game right now

sure MB is on top....oh wait...the Nissan R35 GT-R is faster around the Ring than the CLK Black Series. the new ZR1 Vette is also faster. Both are cheaper to buy than the CLK Black Series.
you can surely go to e36 M3 forums, but with your attitude you will probably get banned the first day.

yea...run and operated by team McLaren in Britain. it's called McLaren-Mercedes, not Mercedes-McLaren. unlike McLaren-Mercedes relationship BMW actually now controls BMW-Sauber team. they're only 12 pts behind McLaren in this year's constructor's championship btw in just two year. much improved after parting with Williams.

CLK 500(Gone), C63 FTW!
Yeah, BMW is bringing their M3 back to the ALMS and LMS next year. What is your point? BMW dominated the ALMS GT class in 2001.
Mercedes is more famous for having their car kill 80-100 people in the 1955 Le Mans and for having two of their cars flip out at nearly 180 mph at the 1999 Le Mans. Mercedes disappeared from Le Mans for a long time following each event.
The DTM mainly appeals to the German market whereas the other racing series are worldwide. So who effing cares about them. And the DTM cars are nowhere near what their roadgoing brethren are. GT cars are much closer.
Owned? Right, I owned you. You are proof that it doesn't take class (or brains for that matter) to own a Mercedes.

ok... well the srt10 viper beats all of them, and their engineering team is backed by mercedes. and somebody wisely chimed in that the F1 was 17 years old, dont forget a million dollars! so is there any particular reason why BMW isnt higher up the list than MB? anyone else with more GTR and ZR1 comments? oh well since those are faster than MB's then i guess that BMW is too... what a bunch of idiots. BMW sucks

Instead of throwing numbers you saw on the internet out there, why don't you learn how to construct a cohesive argument.
BTW BMW was building their F1 engines in-house strictly as an exercise, while until 2004 Mercedes had Ilmor build it for them.

I can always rely on the C63 forums for a nice lunchtime laugh. Some of you guys are PATHETIC.
The C63 spun and traction control killed his launch. The Jag got a perfect launch since t/c didn't come on. The C63 passed him once he caught traction. End of story.

Stop blowing smoke wen you dont know, In every professional racing form where both raced head to head, back by the manufacture BMW has been spanked by MB.

I can't help the fact that MB doesn't have a big enough investment / good enough technology to race except in a couple of small classes.
