rims size

i was wondering if 20inch rims would be too big? would the ride be horrible? i wanted to get some rims that would have huge lips for the rear wheels. any thoughts? and what lowering systems are you guys using to lower your c63s??

i like this look of deep dish rims...

I would say,if your planing on lowering your car with 20's that may get you in trouble with "tire rub". I would only max out with 19's and use something like 8.5 in the front and 9.5 or max 10 on the back and then lower it to the floor.

yeah i know what you mean. that's exactly why i was asking cuz i know i'm going to eventually drop it and i was figuring 20s would be a little too big. is it just me or do i not see too many 19inch rims that are deep dish?? I guess it just depends on what width you get...

E92 M3's are different. You can have have a 305 to 315 tire on 11" width on the back.

I will settle for 285 on a 10 for the 63

I think it's really depend on the design of the wheels center piece, but don't expect too much.

i plan on ordering a set of 360 forged cf five 19's. i emailed the guy at 360 forged, he said because of the high offset our car has and the big brakes, the biggest he could go is 3.5" on the lip, and that is pretty deep, deep enough for me and I like em deep dish. I'm starting to think abut getting 20's though.

I would be glad to help you out with some wheel options.
20" would fit your car but you will notice a slight in ride quality as expected, but nothing too bone jaring at all!

Feel free to shoot me a PM for pricing on any of the 360 Forged wheels or anything else

I would prefer Spec 5ive or SL 10 coz' I've seen too many bmws have Mesh Eight type of wheels on them. But this is totally personal and subjective. Just put on whatever you think looks good.
