That's a whole lot of steak. What cut is it?

I've eaten a 48oz porterhouse and 3 double cut lambchops in one sitting along with broc/baked pot, and dessert. Not sure if I could handle 72oz, but it would be seriously fun trying.

Stop teasing. How about a vid clip with sound!

I'm thinking just for the novelty bit of it, I may install electric cut-outs onto the back end of my x-pipe when I get it. Then I'm not hacking up the stock parts either.

Same airbox but different inlet tube? Is there a separate and different tube between the airbox and intake manifild?

Yes, it seems at least the E/CLK/C have different inlet tubes but the boxes are the same.

So can you retro fit the tubes on a C63 with other larger OEM tubes from another "63" series engine.

Not sure about that Troy but you can "manipulate" the factory tubes. I have spares otw from Germany and will post what I come up with.

what would be different about oem tubes from any other s/s cylinder tubes of the same diameter? we are just talking about the tubes and not the manifolds or the cats/mufflers correct?

Gravedgr,

You had done a great job in recapping the tuner results for the c63 ECU tunes. Have you by any chance been keeping track of recent results/pricing? Is this list still fairly accurate?

Thanks for the feedback - unfortunately, no, I have not. I took a hiatus from the forum until this past week. During that time, there have been some negative feedback on MHP and to be honest I would not have a lot of faith in any comparison until the fallout is done and the vendors have had a chance to address the feedback.

I will probably take a look at rounding up the feedback, updates, and new info from the past 3-4 months and updating this sometime in early March.

I here there is a new tunner comming out, you tell him the horsepower you want and that's what he prints on the dyno sheet. Also, to make pricing easy, it just has a flat fee of $3995.00 on any horsepower number.

I highly recommend going through an MB dealer if maintaining your warranty is important. It doesn't have to be your local dealer. Many MB dealerships that have a tuning/performance center have relationships with local MB dealers and they can help smooth out any warranty issues at the local dealership level. The MB dealerships with tuning/performance centers have access to all of the tuner products out there.
