I always use chevron 94 octane for my cars. When my c63 arrives at the end of the month I intend to use chevron 94 still :p
I try to stay away from shell after their whole fuel/water fiasco back in the day. Also in the past (not sure about now) but Shell/Esso's gasoline was found to be the most impure out of all the competitors. I don't have a link to quote that so you can just take it as conjecture .
edit: I guess you're in toronto do they have Chevron over there? Not sure about Sunoco as I've never seen one in Vancouver.

Shell and Chevron are both excellent, but considering the 63 being so high-strung, the extra octane protection would be well worth it to me.

but a frd of mine who drives a cls 63 said putting ultra 94 is not gd for our engines. Since sunoco's ultra 94 contain ethanol. What he said was shell's 91 is just pure gasoline and he said you will notice the difference if you empty a whole tank and put shell 91 in it. He said it will be gd to put sunoco once a month because ethanol cleans your engine. If you have been putting sunoco u must have realize the muffler tips is black because it's the ethanol that is not burning.

Whenever I fill her up, I cannot resist to push the pedal down and make her roar and rip through the streets.. and of course burn all that ethanol that is NOT harmful for the air and atmosphere.

To my knowledge.. the higher the octane the higher the levels of alcohol in the benzine (Gasoline), and it is also a known fact that Ethanol helps keep a much cleaner environment. With cars like ours, it is a good motive to reassure ourselves of the fact that we are not that careless about our environment after all.
Ethanol is a joke, and it is bad for engines, it is not a solution to anything except corn farmers' bank accounts.
