a client from work has these in 22" on his 08 ML only authentic and they are a really nice wheel. Havent seen them too much, and replicas even less. I think they are pretty new, so prob with a little time. I would try the bay tho, they have tons of replicas on there

Dodi I cant comment on the taste however they will harm his handling on the car. The car was designed for 18" with the standard suspension and 19" with the Performance package but even then I bet the car handles better with the stock 18's.
20" wheels will induce a understeer, actually enhance the understeer we already have. With the enormous 6.2 liter motor over the
front wheels and then a 20" package will really make the handling suffer.
22" wheels are ....well..... I dont know what to call it. its like taking a high performance aircraft and modding it so it can only roll down the runway and not be able to fly.

Replicas? Seriously?
Just keep your HRE's. Maybe have them refinished or something if you don't like the black lip.
You just can't put replicas on the C63.

THE WHEELS ARE NOT FOR ME! THEY ARE FOR A BUDDY WHO HAS THE SAME CAR...who for some reason is too cheap to buy real wheels. I would never downgrade from HRE to that.

MBWorld Fanatic!
I believe MBUSA's reasoning was due to the condition of the roads in NA. Who cares......
I'd sign a waiver that it is my responsibility to not drive over potholes and if I do, I am releasing MBUSA of any warranty claims of driving into potholes.

Understeer is a design feature. Changing wheel sizes doesn't enhance it as long as the overall diameter stays the same. You can combat understeer somewhat by varying the pressure in the fronts when compared to the rears; i.e. F = 29psi and R = 32psi vs F = 35psi and R = 32psi. You now have somewhat less understeer with the latter.

AMD The BS flag is a little harsh -if you dont agree -just say you dont agree. but what we experienced with the Porsche GT3 was not Bull*****-
However youre completely correct if the outside diameter doesnt increase. But if you put on heavier wheels and heavier tires just by the amount of mass you have increased in the front you are going to increase turn in time and understeer thats just physics. We had the SAME problem our our Porsche GT3s. The stock 19s were too big for the design and on the track we had a terrible push mid turn. The typical 911 18' rims almost immediately corrected the problem. Also the ride quality is enhanced with the smaller rims. A bigger rim and tire combo with increase harshness.
Paascheo The reason AMG is not putting on the 19s here is because they say that our roads are too RUF for their lightweight wheels.
If you arent a big time tracker dont worry about it one inch isnt going to be a big deal HOWEVER you still might notice a harsher ride.

More unsprung weight = sluggish handling. I have a feeling 90% of the people who buy this car will not be pushing the car near the limits to feel the difference between the 18", 19" and 20" wheels. I've been reading the thread titles on the C63 section and quite a lot of them are concerning cosmetic mods while the threads asking about handling and braking often go unanswered.
