[Feeler] c63 Eyelid LEDs

Sup guys, this aint for sell yet but i was wondering if any of you would buy a pair (4 total) Japan OEM LED lights for the eyelids. Price would be 250.00 + shipping. If you buy them from Japan they cost over 300.00 shipped.

These have the built in canceler's (no error msg) and are straight from Mercedes.

pictures courtesy of whkento:

Pm me if you are interested.
If i sell them then i will post in the classifieds. Thanks

If you can get more pics I'm probably in. Just want to better see the LEDs by themselves (w/out headlights on).

Thanks
Andy

Hey, I would go to the nearest MB dealer here in Germany and find out if they have them for the Euro spec W204.And I am sure that there are other neat extras normaly for the euro spec that can be had for us while we are "over" here.

I'd love a set, but what's with the a$$ rape pricing? (not a dig on you - your supplier at $300 from japan says it all in that regard) $250 for four LEDs and capacitors on a bulb board? That looks like a cree lamp or a 3W LED - either way they're not that expensive. Well, whatever the market will bear. They do look great though.

Exactly....

I got mine for 296.00 (10% discount) shipped but if i sell them then i will let them go for 250.00 + shipping.

You wonder why they cost so much....

the more it cost the more unique/no hassle/no U.S. vendors (from japan only) so that makes it a rare upgrade & worth every penny when you look at your w204's face.

$100, yes. $300, no. I never see the front of my car with the headlights on anyhow, so it has to be a reasonable cost mod.

You dont? lots of people use polargs but that still aint the real thing. Look at the pictures above and go outside and look at yours. You cant tell me you dont see the difference. Couple of the pictures i posted was by a camera phone and shows you that there are no tweaks to make the lights look different like some have done here. If i had time i would post some pics of examples but im at work. Maybe another member can help with that.

Yeah its spendy but it must be because its a new technology. Those who want it know what they have to do in order to have it. Like buy resistors and other DIY or labor costs to add to that because lots of people like me dont have time to do it by ourselves. These are simply plug and play without having to worry about our picky errors and last a long time.

Im big on lighting, i think it makes a hell of a difference for any vehicle. This is my personal opinion and im in the works right now with changing all my interior lights to LED and My fog lights to HID. Its costing an arm and a leg for just lights but i love it. I will post up pics when the conversion is complete.

Im all about individuality and being differerent vs. others even if it will cost me. Of course we are all limited with products and sources. I do the best i can.

lol you guys are f'in crazy!!! since when has an LED bulb become a "rare" upgrade. Maybe it will be even more "unique" and "rare" as very few people with enough brains would actually fork over $250 for a part that costs less than $10 to make. I guess if I owned a Lamborghini, these would go for $500, but if I owned a Toyota, they'd be about $30? Where's the forum love anymore, everyones looking to make a buck. If I were inclined to (which I'm not) I would say, guys just ship your bulbs to me and I'll convert them and ship back the same day for $50. Any one handy with a soldering gun? Quick way to make fast easy cash!

I don't mean to come off as an a$$, but LED's have been around since the '80's, nothing new about that, the newest version of HID Micro LED's have been around for almost a decade too. Us westerners don't get to see all the goodies that come out of Japan till they've had it for at least few years.
I did a LED interior conversion in my second car as a kid. I went from stock green to blue and cost me about $20 for the 50 pack of LED's and the resistors. bought them from a local electronics supply store.

No kidding. 100 18000mcd 10mm white LED cost $25. Then again, who is gonna do the work? I'd love to see the difference side by side. I'm not going to compare a picture to mine though. Your pictures do look great, I'm not saying they don't.

Sorry you took it the wrong way, i ment it by saying that these "built in caneller LEDs" are a rare upgrade here in the U.S. I understand from your stand point that you could go the other route and just DIY with resistors and heatshrink or whatever you call it but why would PIAA sell their teras for so much? must be quality.

Everyones looking to make a buck?
If this was shots at me, im not trying to make a penny from this infact im taking a loss, but dont get me wrong every company is out trying to make a profit.

Sure, everthing in this world cost more than what it was to make it, thats what busineses do, make profits. So everyone one with enough brains would actually know this.

If I were inclined to (which I'm not) I would say, guys just ship your bulbs to me and I'll convert them and ship back the same day for $50. Any one handy with a soldering gun? Quick way to make fast easy cash!
Now what is this whole if i wanted to but im not speach? Stuff like this needs to just stay in your head because it does no good for us.

If you were inclined to which you're not? you're speaking as if everyone knows someone who does soldering? If someone took the time and did this for us then we wouldnt need to go this route. So we pay for parts/maybe shipping/maybe time, before you know it you spent how much? and waited how long? How do we know that everything will work? and if its quality parts? who will stand by their work? If you can find these people please let us know otherwise dont be running your mouth saying things that

No prob man, i dont need a lecture on how long LEDs been around because you're going into a whole different direction, i hope i made my self clear and Im happy for you with all your LED upgrades that some of us are not able to enjoy. So please stop bashing on my thread and making negative comments to us who can afford to and find this option beneficial. Thanks
