Any Canadians attending AMG Test Drive in Dallas Nov 11-14
Hey guys, not sure if everyone is aware, but i was approached by my dealer last week with this amazing event held by AMG/Mercedes-Benz from Affalterbach to be held in Dallas on Novemeber 11-14 at the Motor Sports Ranch which has three road courses. There are 18 cars in total there to be driven ***** to the wall! They range from our beloved C63, as well as E63,SLK55, CLK63 Cabrio,CLS63, S63, Cl63, and Ml63. You have one full day of driving any of these vehicles. This is an all expenses paid event, hotel at the Grand Hyatt DFW paid for, plus meals with fine restaurants. There are 96 openings available, 24 per day i understand for any AMG registered owner in canada. The only thing I had to pay for was my flight to get there. I have booked for arrival on the Nov 11 and full track day for the 12th. The spots apparently are filling up fast, this is an awesome venue to meet fellow Canadian AMG owners.

how do you qualify for that? I would love to take part in an event like
that and Dallas is my home town. I would rather do it out here in California or Nevada but how do you get hooked up?

I have an email and phone message to the dealer to try and get more information. The AMG performance Tour is being held in Dallas at Park Place of Dallas on November 22nd as well.

I will post the program schedule as sent to me:
Day One - staggered arrivals at DFW airport, guest will be asked to walk over the Grand Hyatt DFW conveniently located at the airport and will be met by hostess(hopefully she is a Cowboys cheerleeder)
Guest to pre check in, sign waivers, produce drivers license etc, guest will then join the group for cocktails at 7pm. Then shuttled to dinner and then be returned to dinner for a "nightliner".
Day Two - 6am-7:30am- breakfast served at hotel
7:45am- instructors will identify 24 guests and will be invited on
board the shuttle(45-50 minute drive to the track)
9:00am- program starts
12:30pm- Lunch served
4:30pm- program concludes
4:35pm- champagne toast at the track(beer and wine also
available)
5:00pm- shuttle back to hotel/airport
6:00-7:00pm- leisure time for guests
7:00pm- cocktails
7:45pm- departure for dinner(the two overlapping waves of
guests will dine together) 8:00pm- Diner
10:00pm- return to hotel
10:15pm- Nightliner
Day Three
AM Staggered departures
This sounds like alot of fun, again they are covering all hotel stay(two days) as well as food and beverage costs. This event is held by "Driving Unlimited and AMG Germany"
Hope to see some of you fellow Canadians there, and sorry about the US guys, but i am sure there are alot of these types of events that you get to choose from.

I got the same schedule as Nick. They emailed it to me from the dealership, they also asked for my itinerary and if my wife or gf is coming with me. I guess they do accommodate a guest with you.
