with sae smoth5 stock it made 374.90 whp (5th gear)
with sae smoth5 evosport/powerchip it made 391.10whp (5th gear)
as soon as i get the raw date from my dyno guy ill post them up.
i could not get a sheet to show everyone bc his connection from the dyno computer to his printer was not working and he will email me all the date from my stock 2 runs (4th gear and 5th gear) to my evo/powerchip 3 run (one 4th gear and two 5th gear runs)
im very disapointed right now im very mad i sent my ecu bad to powerchip and toled them to flash it back stock. i rele dont think im ganna do a tune at all now.
thanks for all you help guys everyone, mabee one day ill change my mine and give another tuner a chance to tune my car, but as far as evosport/powerchip goes i dont want it in my car anymore.

mthis- Sorry to hear about your results. Will you still be going to MIR? I am from Morris County NJ and I am planning to go as well.
Is Atco open Thursday? I may be going to Atco on Friday with a group of guys doing a track rental- If I get my parts by then.
Either way, Island Dragway is open Sunday for test and tune 10-4.
Let me know...

not to provide a light of doubt for anyone but how many miles did you have on it after the tune?
Andy said he recomenneds running hard for 200-300 miles - i dont know why this "loosens" the ECU - does anyone know that?

If the ECU is adapting after the flash the running hard would make sense. Did Evosport offer any advice or explanantion? This makes me wonder if I should hold off on having my ECU flashed until I'm past the 1000 mile breakin rather than having it done before taking delivery of the car.

wait out at least 5000k on it. dyno the car and then re dyno after you get it chipped or flashed.
advice yea give me $2000 and ill give you 16.2 whp ummmm thats $123.45 per horse power to wheel. what a bang for you buck lol

I have my car flashed by Power Chip in Melbourne, I did not dyno the car but I can feel the car pull a lot harder doesn't feels like only 16hp gain.
May be they accidentally flashed you with the first version Power Chip ECU upgrade which only increase it from 336kw to 352kw which is more in line with your rwhp dyno result.
Stock
(336 kw) 450 hp minus 17% tranmission loss = 373.5 rwhp which is close to you stock dyno result.
If they really flash you with the first version
First version
(352 kw) 472 hp minus 17% tranmission loss = 391.7 rwhp which is very close to what you are getting
I don't think Evosport or Power Chip were dare to post a fake dyno graph to make a quick buck and damage there well known established brand name.

ones too fast according to CHP!
I am sorry, I posted on the other thread. The problem is indeed that the file sent to mthis was the first generation file. It was a mistake that was made (we all make mistakes).
It is an unfortunate situation, and I have already appologized to mthis in his more recent thread.
thanks

Now I’m so nervous to even get the flash, I've been thinking about it for a while and finally decided it was worth it and was going to do it, until I read this...
I have no idea if I’m going to do it now...

We have flashed numerous 63s with Powerchip latest file and the results are excellent.
On C63s it is 55+RWHP, on other 63s it is 15+RWHP. I have done numerous dynoes back to back.
There are no smog problems. Dealers have no idea about a flash.
I will post dynos tomorrow.

I have done mine with PC although there are a few CEL problems but they fix it finally, so far so good. And I have been talking with Wayne the Head of PC, they have a new version coming out in two weeks with around +10 hp more.

Yes, there were issues with 2 customers of the Powerchip file that got the first version when they should have gotten the second version with throttle body manipulation. Besides those, there have not been any issues with Powerchip that I have any knowledge of.
We are testing the newest version of the C63 software in our beta car, and it does pick up nice midrange.

Oh yeah, how could I forget this tasty little tidbit? He found the transmission maps!!! He started with dropping the shift delay from .5sec down to .2sec and that makes an incredible difference in how it cracks off both up- and downshifts, especially in Manual. Oh, god the downshift barks from 5-4 and 4-3 give me goosebumps (especially with the new exhaust). He's looking into the other maps and making changes over the next few days. I'm sooooooo excited to test this weekend's flash...
