Pics of my new White on White C63
Hi all.
Took delivery of my 09 C63 on Saturday from MB of S. Charlotte, NC. First off, let me say that Torrey Tennant (my salesman) and the crew over there are absolutely the BEST I have ever dealt with. This was, without question, the smoothest, most hassle-free car buying transaction I've ever had (and I've had more than my fair share). Torrey and his people are simply fabulous. He even came to the airport (my wife and I flew in from Miami), picked us up in a new S550, and brought us to the dealership to take delivery of the car. Unparalleled service indeed! Bottom line: If you're on the East Coast, and are looking for a new MB, look no further. Torrey will take care of you.
As for the car, well, what can I say that hasn't already been said? This thing is an absolute animal...and I haven't even gone past 4500 rpm or 85 mph yet. Can't wait til break-in is over!! Sooooo glad I picked this over the IS-F or E9x M3. I still haven't figured out how to upload my contacts from my PDA to the COMAND center, but I'm working on that. The navigation is fantastic BTW (wouldn't have made it back home to Florida w/out it).
Anyways, w/out further ado, here are some quick pics I snapped at the dealership (yeah, that's me in the last one):
I'll post some better ones in a couple weeks when I find a suitable locale.
Feels good to finally be a member of the family fellas.

Guys, thx for all the kind words. I'm really beyond satisfied with the car right now. I have that same sh*t-eating grin on my face EVERY time I hear that priceless engine growl at start-up. And if u guys think the sahara interior looks good in pics, just wait til u see it in person. You almost don't want to sit in it b/c it's so pristine.
Let me see if I can answer some of the Q's:
Oh, for sure. But not too crazy. Honestly, this car looks almost perfect in stock trim. I'll probably just add some clear sidemarkers, 19s, springs/coilovers and reflash with Evo/MHP/Kleemann.
LOL...it was like that the whole drive home.
Well, it was pretty darn good for a Sept order. $3K off MSRP With the economy COMPLETELY in the crapper now after the election tho, u guys could probably do a lil better.
Dude, those Pumas are so comfortable, I'd wear them to sleep if my wife would let me.
C'mon man, cut Randy some slack! 45 yrs old and he's still out there kicking @$$. Granted, Sat nite wasn't his best outing, but Lesnar is just a freak of nature.
You can't even compare the dealers in Miami to NC. It's like nite and day. Torrey and his people treated me and the wife like royalty. In contrast, I literally got kicked out of LP Evans Motors when I asked the salesman how much off MSRP he was willing to go. He's like: "We don't do that here." B*tch, please. With this economy, and you're not willing to deal?! Gimme a break. I'm going back there with the car this weekend, with a BIG sticker on the side that says: "$3K off MSRP...B*TCHES!!!!"
Oh, and the drive really isn't that bad. We spent the nite in Savannah to break it up, and it was perfect.

Any plans for mods?
Look at the grin on your face
Congrats! Guess it was a mean deal to go from FL to NC, huh?
Mind me asking how well you did?

You even have the shoes to match!
blownS, niiiice ride man. Congratulations. Hope it brings you many great miles. Buuut please, please lose the Xtreme Couture shirt.
Very nice pictures. What kind of deal did you get? Thats a beast of a drive from Charlotte. I"m sure the dealers up there are much better than here in Miami

Actually, I do. 3 little ones. That was part of the reason I went with the C63 to begin with (i.e. REAL back seats). Matter of fact, I just threw them all in the back last nite and went for a drive. Altho I did tell them that if they put their feet on the seats, there would be to pay!
