Probably saved me over 40%. The hardest part was arranging for someone in the US to purchase it for me and have the parts sent to their house. The dealer will not accept a cc outside of the US.
Just from the sounds of that, you got a great deal, T.

Got any photos of the hardware?

The total weight was 100 lbs and they're sitting at the office ATM. I will snap some shot when I get in.

AAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA

That made my day at work! Thanks David

BTW, Who is going to show their AMG on the 28th? Im going to get there early to try and find a nice double wide spot for both cars. Finally an excuse to set aside a weekend to cut polish my car this summer!

I just spoke to Rolf, one of the coordinators, and the entry fee is $10 plus a food donation.

Kevin

Here is a pic of he fronts + brakepads. The rear rotors are still in the Fedex boxes.
I am hoping the dealer can have them installed in 2 hrs.

How much is the dealer charging you for the installation? There might be better options out there. But I'm sure you know that.

next time just send mister brenton (on this same forum) a PM.
he can give u a parts and price list and hook u up with the OEM parts u need.
hes helped me out a few times already and his prices are good.

ill also be getting my rotors and pads from him as well. much cheaper than the dealer.

also if you are going through all that to get the parts, then dont bother having them installed at the dealer. its just a simple brake job so almost any shop can do it. go to advance!

I know, but I couldn't be bothered with going to a shop or deal with warranty issues if i use someone else. After my warranty expires i will no longer do nay work at the dealer. My apt is already setup for tmrw morning.

yep, i've talked to him already and will be using him in the future. I don't like to inconvenience ppl even though they don't mind doing me the fav. I dont think anyone could have matched this deal.
