I actually just did a comparison in value of my STS-V to a C55 with the same year, miles and location and equally equipped. It was like 45% depreciation on my car vs. 38% depreciation on the C55

Why, I am not breaking any forum rules. I have every right to be in here. Is this what you guys do to outsiders......insult them constantly and when they still show up and you can't come up with anymore original material like "fake exhaust tips", "toyota corolla" ....your only recourse is to recommend that someone ban me?

it brings down all of our behaviour. But even worse the ones who dont get drawn in to the hate, leave. Thats the worst part. When you have a troll like 8 speed you either respond or leave. Our forum has just become alittle bit nicer.

SOrry Yellow jacket KBB blue book doesnt apply here. Too small of a sample size. Thats why you cant find any decent 911 prices there either.
There is only the knowledge of the market THAT day and one or two peridicals like Carsthatmatter.com. Even if the periodical is dedicated to the marque the market prices doent reflect what the real market is.
The AMG C63 is too small of a sample size and too new to be judged on the depreciation. On Cadillacs and other common cars like Corvettes yea you can get an idea from kellys blue book or Edmunds.
But here is an example, Excellence the magazine about Porsche and for Porsche has buyers guides in it every month. They are even close to being the value of what say a 911 GT3 is. I sold my 07 for $115k 12 weeks ago. Excellence had the car in excellent condition in the 90K range. Thats a 20% mistake. You can NEVER NEVER rely on Kelly's
for values on these kinds of cars that being AMG or Porsches.

But AMG makes less than 18,000 Motors a year including all the motors it makes for other companies like Zonda.
If you use KBB you are looking to give your dealer more than ten thousand dollars through your lack of market knowledge.

Hey Norb. When I graduated HS alot of our football players went to UH and was part of the package that made UH a powerhouse in Football in the late 70's. Guys like Donnie Love and some other guys were part of the team that lost the Cotton Bowl to Joe Montana in 79. THey should have won that game.
