Even with a Kleemann tune the C63 i dont think hits 199mph there has to be something more to the story. Then again I could be wrong, I was at the shop today and we were guessing my C55 could hit 175mph. I think evosport hit 200mph on a dyno with the CLK Black. But that test doesnt do any good becuae there is no wind resistances. In any even the c63 hit 199/200mph how it did it IDK.

Ran my 2005 C55 (Kleenann ECU and GREEN's) on a speed run, partly downhill, to 300-kph / 187-mph. I was surprised how easy it went from 200 to 300.

There you go, Maybe this C63 did do 2bills... 187 thats fast as hell.

Well welcome to Germany!! The MB has Stugart plates and the driver probably works for MB. You always find places over here to "air" it out.

I drove a CLK 55 between Trier and Wittlich here in Germany and hit the magical 300kph, these speeds are scary.I have also read some years back that a C32 with no speed delimination would also hit just above 290kph.MB's have always been faster than what the manufacture says.

Well, for the record i have run mine up to 155mph on I-20 east this past Saturday. Man, ROCK SOLID! Great handling car. No floating or drifting. Feels like you set the car at 45mph or something. I was already driving at 90mph or so, dropping down to fifth and running it up to 155 was nothing.

Not easy to find a long enough open stretch or road to top it out. I do not pass people at this kind of speed.

At some point I will run it up to the the 178mph speed limit. Having said that I am sure Andy at MHP could get me up towards that 200mph / 321.86 KPH mark.

Pretty good driving in the country side but I would hate to see what happens when something unexpected turns up in the roadway when he is taking those corners at 140.

He knows that road very well, you can certainly tell by his gear selection. But still, 140 is stil 140...familiar road or not.
