Smile c63 or Convertible For South FL?

Well, my lease is nearly up on my 07 Infiniti and I have been highly considering a convertible such as M3 or 335i.

I live in South Florida, and would get a chance to use it quite a bit.

However, I think both those cars are overpriced quite a bit and for the money I can grab the c63 and have more power.

I don't have kids and really don't need a sedan, but it is nice to have especially in business.

I live in a sub par neighborhood, and I'm kind of worried about parking all these cars in my driveway, but I'll risk it and hopefully move out of there to place with a garage soon.

Watcha think VERT or c63 for the single business man.

C63... But honestly, you may want to wait til you get into a better neighborhood and get a garage... besides, in these financial times buying into a better property would be better than buying a nice car... housing prices are lower and in abundance...

Indeed. I actually found a nice community that I'm considering making a move on... It will have a one car garage, gated community, etc.

Unfortunately, I will have to become a landlord and rent my current place out. But the location is great, so should be easy.

In the meantime, I may have to grab a car off lease trader on a short term lease if I decide to go this route...

C63 / ////AMG
Might wanna ask in some other forums, since we're biased here....

BTW, convertibles are not real sports cars and cars in general are not chick magnets...it's the driver that counts

I really can't see how the boxster made it to this list ... from these 4 I'd pick the C63 but I think the reason is - like one of the guys up there mentioned - this is a community of performance enthusiasts so we're all kind of biased here ... I do very much like velvet fog's idea though kind of serves both ways here.

'08 C63 AMG (turned in for lease)
Yeah i mean as far as girls go with AMG's, they have no clue. My girl calls it the "black car". If we were in a parking lot with only black cars, she'd b ****ing clueless. It's about what you like, not what you think they might like.

If you need a car to pull girls for you, just turn ur ****/***** in

Audi TT/boxster convert are queer as folk

haha.. im not looking to pick up chicks with my car... just was curious if owning a convertible in South FL is worth it.. Some of my friends love their verts.. others don't....

Me personally, i have the windows and sunroof open in my sedan quite a bit... so i thought a vert would be nice.. but when it is 90 degrees out.. not soo much!

Boxter made the list because of price... Of course id rather have the 911.. but it is too pricey for my blood.

I just don't get why's the pricing system so different over there ... in here you can get 2.5 Boxsters for the price of one E63, hell you can get 1.5 911s for the price of one E63

Ya I think the boxters are over priced.. but with all the options in a convertible, the price gets up there...

Personally I ike the 335i chipped... good bang for the buck.. but leasing the 335i vert.. numbers are not the greatest for a 50k car.

very handsome car, the 335, I think it's the prettiest of all the 4 including the C ... I just can't get over how nice looking the 335 BMW and the Audi A5 are.
