Countdown to Liftoff
Hey everyone,
Been lurking here for the past few months, and am getting ansy as i am five days away from picking up my new C63. I bought the aggressively priced ebay car (http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eB...m=310102064470) - so far, this was the lowest priced i've seen for a low-mileage, reasonably equipped C63.
I will be leaving on Friday nite red-eye and will be driving back to California starting Saturday. I mapped out a more southern return route to avoid any potential weather precipitation - i'm planning to be back home on Christmas Eve. Also managed to snag a ticket for the Titans/Steelers game in Nashville (we are NFL-challenged in Los Angeles).
Can't wait to start that beastly engine for the first time and hear the exhaust bark!

Welcome to th club, your lucky with no break in period, that was the hardest thing to deal with in me getting this car, cant wait to hear your impressions when driving, all windows down is mandatory, if you can find a downtown core with big buildings, great place to really hear this monster, even tunnels are fine....happy hunting

2009 C63 AMG
Awesome price. I would have purchased used, but I got the best trade-in value on my leased M3 from the dealer that sold me my brand new C63. Even factoring in the savings from buying used, it worked out better to buy new. If it were not for that darn M3, I'd have much more $ in the pocket for the MHP upgrades
