Scuff marks on rims
Well it was bound to happen sooner or later but I finally got a little curb scuff on my C63 rims last night...I wanted to cry! but its not that bad. Anyone know the best way to patch/fix these up without replacing the wheel?

Not that hard imo. Then again this forum has so many idiots I'm not surprised by anything anymore.

sheesh. Thanks for calling me an idiot.
I was basically just asking if there were specific rim/wheel guys....I have never been to one before and wanted to know if anyone has gone to one before. That is why I asked. Sorry to have bothered you.

Ray Catena here in New Jersey has a guy who comes by once every few weeks and fixes scratches etc on rims for $150...supposed to make it look new.

I think the only idiots are name callers. Sorry your experience in this forum has not been positive. Hope you get the info you need.

Agreed. It's the name calling that I'm challenging.

I had a rim fixed on my BMW years ago and it looked perfect. I brought it to my local dealership at the time and they arranged everything. (side note my Bimmer had a matching rim for a spare, so I just kept the fixed one in the trunk--those were the days, real spare tires and rims!!) I think it cost about $125.
Two of my rims on my CLK have a tiny rash on them--not going to have them fixed--hoping to get a C63 instead!!

AH the dredded crub!! Im a wicked parallel parker, but I swallow my pride and take no chances with my C350. I dont care if I park 1 foot from the curb, I just dont want the rims marked. Anyway just take it to a wheel repaire shop. its not that much for quality work.
