Gas Mileage

Hello Fello C63 AMG lovers, I am wondering what you guys do to improve gas mileage? The c63 get around 13 in the city which is absolutely horrible but the car is a gift from the GODS and isnt worth passing by. I know that performance chips can be added. Are there any recommendations on them?

Thanks guys

I get 12mpg in city driving. Perhaps you need to stop babying your car.

I've been getting about 270 km (168 miles) to a tank.

I need to drive downhill more.

Hello Fello C63 AMG lovers, I am wondering what you guys do to improve gas mileage?

I get about 270km per tank consistently(168 miles) as Sebring does, mind you, this is in ESP sport plus manual, hence the nice downshifts. We have very small gas tanks, that is half the problem, I dont care how horrible the gas mileage is, I just cant seem to get used to going to the gas station every couple days, its crazy! If the tank was bigger I wouldnt be pulling over as much, oh well, glad this isnt my daily driver.

I managed to get 24 mpg on the highway but with city driving I am getting the same mileage as you guys, 270-280 km per tank.

Indeed, about 170 mi/tank is demoralizing. Thankfully my daily commute is 12 miles round trip. On the other hand, that's too short to have enough fun before work.

YIKES!!!! Nick, you and George are eating fuel like crazy!!! I average 17ltr/100 and about 380klm per tank. Have gotten 420. You know I am driving fairly hard but why would we have 100klm per tank delta???

By the way, I have run Shell V-Power 91 the last 3 tanks as an experiment and the engine seems to run better particularly at idle. Much smoother vs the Ultra 94 that was making for rough idle.

I get 10.3MPG in manual in the city, and about 22mpg on the highway in manual as well.
Night and day difference between the Prius!!
