The most important issues for the owners of these cars is when doing a ECU tune or bolt on parts(headers etc) is the CEL light issues, if there is none to report i am sure you will win a few owners confidence, especially with the reputation of Kleeman, so dont sugar coat it, tell the members about the CEL if there is any and what you will do to correct and guarantee, thanks.

Bring a Kleeman tuned C63 to MIR or HRP and I'll show you the difference between "the maximum" and "Kleeman".
Also tell me about Kleeman's ability to do 63 TCUs and work around MBs new 128 bit encryption...

2fast - i am waiting for my tune back from MHP and i will be able to supply dynos and reviews shortly there after - i already have a third party baseline dyno done (and with drop ins) so it will be an unbiased dyno.

I would like to know a few things: As of which production date is this effective?
Is it something that you can work through, or is it completely new and requires additional hacking?
Lastly, how will this effect the MHP tune? HP & Torque, as well as price?

Apparently it's been phased in slowly since 2008 and is more prevelant the newer the control units are.
We've had to change our software and hardware to accomodate the encryption, and quite honestly I don't think anyone less maybe one other small high end op can do the 128 bit stuff. I think you'll see a most of the tuners out there right now dropping out of the MB game shortly.
We can work through the encryption now that we've rebuilt our software and acquired some new hardware, though what's taking additional time (and will continue to do so in the future) is MB/AMG scrambling the code (moving tables around) and revising the checksum software every 30 days or so. We've basically been "wasting" 40hrs a month finding new table locations and building new checksum software. In the future you'll very likely see an increase in the price of MB and other encrypted/scrambled tuning.
Final tune results won't be affected as we can still access all the same tables (once we find them) so expected HP/TQ will be the same as the non encrypted units.
We're literally working as fast as we can to get the newer units back to our customers, at the same time we still live test on engine/trans dyno's to ensure the cals are live and the tuning has taken.
We're not the fastest with regard to return time (never have been due to our 100% custom coding) but we feel we deliver an unparalled product (at a VERY fair rate compared to others getting results in the same ballpark).
At the moment we're dealing with Stefan and Lou's encrypted C63 cals and hope to have them wrapped up in the next 2 days.

Andy I am good 4 weeks since surgery and looking for some cash to give to you for my ECU TCU (who beat Boise State) and My CSU where I went to school.(give me a couple weeks to a month and I should be calling)

I got cut, was walking in 5 hours and got out a day early and its been pretty smooth since. I have cut my meds by 75% and the pain is WAY down!!

if CF is cooling Fan then - yes there was a large Fan set up.
smoothing - filter value? says 99. Filter mode FIR
I have attached the scan - its ****ty quality - if you want it better i can do that.
When can i see a tracking number?

Just talked to Dave in Michigan (Where you send the ECU to)
he said tomorrow it will be shipped out...hopefully
I guess I am posting this because I can't get any firm answers on my ECU and infact was told that most customers would not even bother asking they would just wait for it to return (its almost been a month). The longer i wait the more frustrated I get....the only thing keeping me somewhat grounded is that the weather is ****ty in Vancouver and i could drive it hard anyways.
If the performance and lack of any CEL issues etc are like what has been reported on MBWORLD i wont remember this hassel - if they are not ... well lets not go there yet.
I guess you will know I will provide a very unbiased opinion of the performance upgrade.
