I never sit in the back but once in a while have passengers in the back. So far I not had passengers in the rear. As for the legroom, It is perfectly fine for me (I'm 5'9" and theres no problem.

That's what I meant. Steve's (fake) original name. In that he says, (when he was Gern) that he created the "Learn with Gern" tapes. I hadn't thought about that in over 25 years. Very funny.

Still driving my 2005 Evo 8 daily. I suppose selling my 2006 Z4M Coupe (just 8 months after I bought it) helped make room for the C63 a little over a year later.

C 63 and C 55

C 63 What did I drive prior?

I drove and still have a C 55. It is a 2005 with 18,500 miles. MBZ (AMG) just replaced the entire bottom end (they called it a fitted block) as I was starting to see blue smoke when the car started. After carefull examination (they tore down the entire engine) MBZ discovered vertical scratches in three of the piston walls. MBZ has been the only servicer of the car. $20,000 later at their expense I might add the car was returned to me (2 days after the warranty expired). Car now has an additonal 1,000 and is now broken in and has been religated to my wife as her daily driver.

Last ten years or so of cars before the C63 were MT. Don't really miss it to be honest. Not that I wouldn't get a MT car again but it isn't a requirement.
