What did you drive before your C63?
#51
Hi everyone,
I just joined (although I've been on this site many times) and currently driving an E46 M3.... so I haven't made the switch yet. I've been an M fan for many years and will always be....and like Rob said... I just can't bring myself to part with such an awesome car. I'm not crazy about the E92 M3 like I was when the E46 first came out. It's definitly a very cool car with some great performance.... but I think I'm set on making the switch to AMG and going for a C63. As it appears many of you have done, you've left the E46 M3 for the C63 and loved every minute of it.
If I can afford it I may try to hold onto my ol' buddy for years to come... but seeing the C63 in person, reading the articles, watching millions of clips, and reading all that you folks have said... I think my mind is made up.... C63 here I come!... well not just yet... but in a few months here I come!!

GT-R, C63 long gone:'( 2013-GL350 - Gone, GLC43 On The Way
I'm keeping my GT-R and ditching my STi for the C63. I have three kids and if I could only have one car the GT-R wouldn't work for me either. Can't wait till May for my palladium silver to show up.

2009 C63 AMG
Stage II 2006 STi. And I really miss having a manual car. I'm 17 so I don't really care about how classy the car is. But man does the C63 accelerate!

'08 C63 AMG (turned in for lease)
'05 C55 amazing the difference between the C55 and the C63. However i do miss how rare it was to see another C55, here in southern california there's C63's everywhere (but not as frequently as i seen the new M3)

03 E39 M5...Great car, just strating to be a little down on power in today's environment. I sometimes miss the manual and driver interaction it provides. Then I drive the C63 hard and the smile just seems to show up on my face.

to 09 C63:
No regrets. This car is a BEAST.
Curious about how the former Z06 guys would compare the power delivery b/n the two cars tho...

I cant believe on one thread, I sold my (2nd)GT3, Bought a AMG now looking for the 911 to replace my 911. In this small time I had a BAD horrific back -comptemplated medical retirement, forced into surgery (by wifey), had major back surgery, recouped recovered swung a golf club (not in anger(on a course)), and now looking for my 4th 911(in my life -not in 3 months)! All in 3 months!!! Now I wonder if I will keep my AMG and make my wifey give up her 335i or sell the AMG?
