A run in with an M5

heres my 2 pennys.
from a stand still the c63 would win and the m5 to catch up over 100mph.
from a roll the m5 all the way.
the m5 and the c63 is the 200lb weight dif
m5 weight=4012 unloaded.
c63 weight=3814 unloaded.
now the problem with the m5 is take off. roilling do the math 500+ hp to 451 hp. smg to speedshift.
c63 is 8.45 lb per hp 8.456x451=3814lb
m5 is 8.0 lb per hp 8.024x500=4012lb
m5 wins.

Hey SebringSilver, pictures of your meet looks awesome man! You guys had the Porsche Turbos (even the Techart Turbo was there!), Evos, GTR!!! and a sweet looking Gallardo!! now that's a nice lil meet you guys had! Impressed with the chipped 335i? Sleeper cars are so dangerous!!! hehe by the time you know it, you're well cooked! If it is quicker than a stock E92 M3, hats off to the owner!

Okay, we had our meet yesterday that included a highway run. Have to say, the chipped 335i is pretty damn fast. It had no trouble keeping up with cars with well over 400 hp. And the great thing is that it's a sleeper. The fella who owns the car didn't do anything else with the car aside from the chip, wheels, and tires. You'd never know what you're up against until it's too late.
Is it faster than, say, a C63? I don't think so. We didn't get a chance to do anything to scientifically prove it one way or another, but seat of the pants reaction tells me it's close to the performance of a stock C63. Most of us felt it was probably faster than a stock e92 M3.

if you dont spin in a m5 you are out. im sorry i have to disagree with you i seen a m5 trap at 117mph wher my car traped 114 both cars stock same day.

hey guys, i thought i'd share this news to confirm on my run in with the M5: apparently the guy who drove the M5 lives next to a friend of mine and told him how a black C63 AMG whooped him last week.. he even asked what was under the hood of the C63!

well i think the M5 is a great car but i still think the c is faster i had a run with one a week ago and i pulled away i also raced my fathers r8 and beat it from a dig and from a roll
