Pics of my Black C63 with HRE C97's
Hey guys,
Here is my C63. Just had the mods done this weekend thanks to Edison at HMS. Heres the list of the mods:
Painted front grill strips black
Painted side markers black
Painted mirror covers black
Painted Calipers Red with Brembo insignia
Painted the taillights black
Powdercoated Gloss black lips and textured black powdercoat center
Michelin PS2s
HRE C97 19"
H&R Springs
Installed rear backup camera and Video in motion
6000K HID Fogs
Window Tint all around and also tinted the front windshield

im going with silver wheels on my black c63 as i have the blackout look on my truck now, but that does look very menacing -

I believe the front is at 50%. I did not want to go darker because on my truck I had 20% and was pulled over multiple times because of it. During the day 50% looks slightly tinted but at night you can't really see through unless a light is on inside the car.

Those pics are nothing compared to seeing the car in person. I was at HMS on Saturday and witnessed the transformation.
The caliper paint just "pops" out against the black wheels. The wheels are amazing with the black textured spokes and weigh right about 20 lbs so the the unsprung weight should be felt in acceleration.

Midcity Engineering makes the video in motion with back-up camera. Works great!

Ride has not changed a bit with the springs, feels like stock as far as ride comfort goes. I would definitely recommend these. I was thinking of installing KW coilovers but the $2,000+ price tag quickly steered me towards H&R's.

hey man, what was the process needed to paint your brake calipers? Do they bake them? Did you have to change your brake fluid and does it withstand high temp. driving well without fading (spirited driving)?
If you don't mind... maybe you can share the cost involved as well? I'm thinking of spraying mine to yellow...
