Meguiar's Scratch X has always been a dependable solution for most hairline scratches. Give it a try.

+1

The Scratch has worked great for me too. Both times I have used it, it works like a champ.

A good detail will likely resolve that.

Anything you use by hand will just fill it in as you need a machine to actually remove any marks or swirl marks.

If you want to get into detailing read the autopia forums and get up to speed or find a good shop to color sand the area and then do a 2 step polish on the whole car. Will look better than new.

Depends on where you live. Check the Meguiar's website and look under "authorized dealers". I'm sure you'll be able to find them in most automotive hardware and supplies stores.

I got some amazing stuff from a detailing shop, it is called "correct it", light years ahead of anything you buy in stores.

To OP - if you don't know what it is or where to get it, pay for a detail. You'll trash your paint! This is not a car to learn buffing on. (not saying to be a d1ck - just to impart my hard lessons from early on!).

Good luck to you.

i will post my picture tomo, i want some opinion.
I never detail my cars because I always leased, but I actually bought c63
because it's cheaper to buy than lease this time.
anyways..i will take a picture of my scratch, and give me some advice.
Mine is better than edi-no-son. Mine is not that noticeable~

I was spewing when i saw it >< ><

I was thinking of just getting some touchup paint and put it on as its under the car and not 'that' noticeable anyway until you look under!!

(btw the car's my dads... not mine lolz.... but i still care!!)

Good point. There is a photo over at autopia of a Honda Civic Si that was done totally incorrectly.

It was a meg. polish that was a mild compound and in the end the user destroyed the car. He was working by hand and he still managed to cause real damage.

Its more in the user than it is the product but I also believe anyone here could learn to do an amazing polish job if he/she simply took the hours of work to learn the process and the products.

As for those marks on the lower rocker panel.... that needs a re-spray. The paint is scratched down to the primer or worse it looks.

post a photo of it from several angels. A good rule of thumb would be if you can feel the mark with your finger nail its there for the duration.

Good luck.
