You knew you would this would happen by posting your car for sale in here, that's the way it is, nobody is hurting the sale your car..... if it was such a great deal you would have sold it by now...
if you can get 58k on a trade, you shouldn't be in here, you should be at the dealer moving the car since you get the tax savings... why sit around and wait for another $1k? the car is probably dropping $1k/month in value as it is....
if I was in the market I would go right for the 2008's that are in the low-mid 50's (asking price).....

AMG & RR
Hey Buddy,
Its sad to hear you might be parting with the C63 but if the wifey aint happy then you are not gonna be too happy either lol.
I say try and keep it but if not, I can maybe try and help you contact some car lovers in the Middle East & South Asia that maybe could take it but it depends on many factors. Shipping, Duty, Tax, etc.
Good Luck!

Paul--
You aint kidding. I just parked next to a gorgeous 2009 911 TT -- damn that's one fine car. I suspect since we've not heard from you in a couple of days, you're at the dealer???

Paul is duking it out over at the 997TT board. He's trying to tell people that used TT prices should be lower than what people are advertising. Kinda strange when he's over here trying to get more than blue book for his C63.

I got a trade value of 56.6 to 58 so I dont need to go lower than what a Porsche dealer would give me for the car. Thats no mess no fuss for me. But I thought I would try to get it to a enthusiast first. I mean if a guy is going into a dealer to buy one for $64 or more (MB has stopped production to boost prices) then he has to break in in and add clear bra for another 1500 bucks, why not buy one that is JUST broken in with Clear bra for free and save $3000 or more. I have even detailed the finish and the leather. So in reality its better than one off the floor. I own it out right so I would just sign over the title and depending on what state the buyer could save even more.
It would be another issue if the car had 10000 miles on it.

$21,000 drop in 7 months? Holy crap!
On a side note, well we are kinda talking about p-cars, anyone have links to good Porsche forums? 911-specific would be even better. thx

Luckily my MB dealer made me a fair (but painful) trade offer that I accepted. It's no joke that one's car can drop 20% after driving it off the lot.
As mentioned, there are exceptions.
So I cringe when I see people posting in this forum, desperate to gain validation as to which car to buy (or that they made the right choice). IMO, the best course of action is a slow, calculated, and objective analysis of which car is better for you. The result of making the wrong decision can be very financially painful.
