Gas Mileage?
So what kind of gas mileage is everyone getting? I am most curious of those who do mostly highway driving.

I have been right around 17-18 in mostly stop and go driving with it in C mode. I do get to open it up once in awhile, but that has not really impacted the MPG much from overall results. This is based on car's mpg reporting, not hand figured

Are these figures from the trip computer or from hand calc'd figures? I have found both my M-B's trip computers are consistently optimistic by 2-3 MPG (an '04 and an '05 - maybe they have improved them?).
2-3 MPG may not sound like much, but if your car says 15 MPG, and it is really 12 MPG, it is off by 20%.

I just try to keep some distance between me and the car ahead so I am always rolling even if it is 1-2 mph. Again, the car is telling me the mpg figure, it may be hedging it a little to the good side.

12 most of the time. But who cares. Al Gore will just have to keep preaching to the choir! I'm increasing my carbon footprint as much as I can.
"Eco-commando" do as I say and not as I do Gulfstreams consume far more petroleum than an occasional full throttle pass in my C63. Ladies and Gents we are indeed in a wonderful automotive time in our history. 451 horsepower and enjoying every single second of it.
