MIR - March 1st, On or Off?

MIR - March 1st, On or Off?
Good Morning,
For those of us that are traveling from out of town (Florida) and are leaving within the next 24 hours will someone make a decision concerning the weather ahead of time? I live in Florida so I know the weather can change from hour to hour but I don't know about the northeast and will someone at MIR decide if the event will take place prior to Sunday morning. Its a long haul from here. Anyone know who makes the decision or will they make one prior to Sunday morning?

We must play the weather by ear, as it can change at any time. We are watching it like a hawk, I can assure you of that. Right now we have an alternative date of Monday 3/2, but will make a final decision shortly. I hope this helps.

yeah. tough to say right now. i was listening to a detailed forecast and at the moment they beleive the rain will probably stay south of DC. But who know right now. We might not know til either the night before or that morning...
