Blacked out with C/F drag wheels set up??
What do you think?
The front wheels are only 5" wide with M/T front 26-6 x 18. The rears are 9-1/2" wide with M/T 265-40-18 drag radials. The fronts are 15 pounds lighter each than the stock set up. Thats 30 pounds less of rotational mass off the front. The rears are only 3 pounds lighter than stock but I'll take it where I can.
All the chrome is blacked out now. Looks very stealth with the stock wheels and tires.

Certainly hope this fox body mustang is ready to race. And at the end of the day...it's still a just mustang. Any 16 year old kid can buy one like that.

And you still just have a C-class.
The bottom line is that the prestige argument kinda stops when you are putting drag radials on your mercedes. You're there for speed, and you fall a bit short.
Given the way AMGs depreciate, a 16 year old could buy a 2.5 year old C63
The car IS a Mercedes and it ran 11.48 today in Orlando so its reasonably fast for a four door grocery getter.

Run what you brung and right now I'm racing a Mercedes NOT a mustang. Not sure who brought up the mustang idea when i was asking about the rims. Anyway, lets keep racing and having fun!!
Incredible perrformance for a C63 and an example of extremely talented tuning. But what happens when you know the rods out of that AMG motor?I'll bet retail replacement is at LEAST $30K.
Pop a small block in your fox body..............

Drag racing was not what the C63 was designed for, just my $0.02.
Might as well just buy a used Camaro and tune that instead.
