I understand what S+ is and I am saying even tho it is not labeled on a knob like the facelifts there is indeed a S+ on pre 2012.... if its not I would like to see the difference in the 2012 and pre 2012 to prove me wrong

I confirm. If you put the car in S1, S2, Swhatever, the car won't shift until the very end. But watch out for gas consumption lol.... it will turn the car into a mad beast.

If in S1, S2 etc, I know it upshifts automatically but does it downshift automatically? and what's the quickest way of getting from S3 to normal S mode again? Is it just upshift paddle until it goes to S6 and then S?

I understand that but when switching to that the transmission response definitely to that of which it does when just in S mode....much more aggressive and only shifts when redline is reached unlike S mode which shifts before redline..thus having the same fuction as a S+ mode on the 2012+....as I stated earlier tell me the difference if it is not S+...only difference I see is 2012+ have it on a knob vs just engaging it via hitting downshift paddle on pre 2012 cars

They are two totally different trannys. Pre facelift has the 7G tronic and facelift and newer have the MCT. That's the difference.
What year C63 do you have?
