C63 AMG
Any Houston area owners with ECU/performance upgrades?

I bought my C63 AMG Saturday and was hoping to upgrade the ECU and potentially mod the car a little. If there is someone with the ECU or other performance upgrades available this weekend I would appreciate the opportunity to meet with them and see how their cars perform.

quite a few, not necessarily c63s, but i've seen vrp and kleemann work firsthand for some 55s

Motorwerks is overpriced IMO, and customer service leaves something to be desired.

I'm also not quite sure about their experience (or lack thereof). They completely botched up my CF spoiler installation, chipped the CF, and left swirl marks on my trunk when they attempted to remove the part. I had to call Neal at Euroteck to send me a new spoiler, and had SABS of Houston install it. They did a flawless job at 1/2 the price.

I'm not at all pleased with Motorwerks.

A pity we don't have more specialized shops in Houston for installation stuff.

I think so; yeah, that's def a better option. As much as stealer's suck, at least they do things right. (most of the time, lol)

Hey Norb, I go to UH as well!

I haven't seen your car yet though.....do you park in the garage?

MB Greenway sales guy recommended Sunil as well. No experience with Motorwerks though. May shy away after that post. I live in Bellaire and saw a silver C63 a while back coming out of West U on Buffalo and Bissonet. May have been you, Norb.

I remember this car and mentioned of the ill fittment before installing the item. If pricing was a concern, you should have said something before agreeing with the install. Once a cf spoiler gets mounted in any way, it is very difficult to remove it without cracking it or damaging it. If you had, at a minimum, emailled me, called me, pm'd me, came by the shop, and told me about your concerns, I would have corrected them with a refund. I always do whatever I can to make my customers happy.
