I still very rarely see another C63 on the roads in Dallas/Ft Worth. I see far more E63s, SL63s, etc. To date I have only seen 3 other C63s on the roads around here and two of them were at a local gathering of car enthusiasts.

I've not seen a DFW C63 other than Qship's at the Saturday morning meet.

Still haven't seen a C63 on the roads here in MN (Twin Cities). I know my dealer has sold several of them, but they have two in the lot right now and sounds like they haven't sold one in a couple months.

I see a lot of C300 Luxury models and a few C300 Sports w/ 4-Matic. I've only seen a couple C350's around town. I think most people really want the 4-matic models. Most MB sedans I see here are 4-matics.

I haven't seen one yet. I know there is another one in Halifax, because the guy stopped me in his van and told me that we are the only 2 that have them here.

Its the economy. Give it a year or two when some used c63's are on the market and than you'll see them everywhere. Just like now I see wayyy too many punk teens in e55's.

I haven't seen any in cleveland, except at the dealership. However, I was just in South Africa, I saw several rolling around in the Johannesburg area.

There is probably more C63's in North America because it's such a great price and what a bang for the buck it is, but I am over here in Germany working for USAF and I have yet to see one on the road over here and they are built here but the base price bare bone C63 starts at over 67 euro k. These cars are very rare outside of N America.

I guess we don't always recognize how good we have it here in North America.

I have yet to see one in Austin other than mine and the one at the dealer which hasn't sold in 4 months. Probably because they won't come off MSRP when everywhere else you can get at least 3-4k off.

See a ton of M3's on the road.

Yeah we do!! The only C63 I have seen on the road or at a MB dealership here in Germany was the one I test drove for over an hour without a salesman and I did open it up several times on the autobahn.

2009 C63
I have seen 5 total in my area so far but I'd imagine that will change soon. The roads near me are littered with land rovers/benzes/bmws etc. It shouldn't really come aas a surprise that the C63 will be all over the place eventually as it is the entry level to the AMG world, just like the M3 is for BMW. When i had my e46 it was rare for me to go 2 miles down the street to the gym w/o seeing one. Just remember you were one of the first ones!

When I go home to visit my mom in CT though my car always stand out no matter when it is.

For some odd reason, despite our crap economy, people still buy expensive cars.

Case in point: at any given time, my dealer will ALWAYS have a CLK63 Black Series, which will be sold in a month or two. Then they get another one, and another one.

In the past 6 months, I've already seen 10 different BS'.

Another strange observation is that almost every C63, M3 Sedan, and RS4 I see on the road are driven by.........................women.

That's something that has me confused.
With AIG executives getting million dollar bonuses, whether they be retention or *lack of* performance based, I'm not surprised that people are gobbling up expensive vehicles. Outside of a mansion or a runway-model girlfriend/wife, nice vehicles are one of the most accessible "status" symbols available today.

Then, during Valentine's Day weekend, I was up in Glendale at the Chocolate festival. To my surprise I saw a red C63 cruising downtown. Car had tinted windows so I couldn't make out the driver.

I see many, many C classes but only two C63s so far.

But at the price that MB has set for the C63, you don't even need those million-dollar bonuses in order to get one. Well, maybe we shouldn't be complaining. I'm pretty happy just being one of the first ones on the block to have one, I guess.

I haven't really modded my cars since I was in my 20's. Maybe it's time to start thinking about doing that again, if the car really does become too commonplace.

True, I was mostly referring to the purchase of CLK BS and CL & SL's. It's a give and take, on one hand you want an incredible product for a decent price, which is what MB has delivered with the C63; the flip-side of the equation results in good sales and then eventual decrease in perceived "uniqueness" or "rarity".

Good point.

Maybe MB/AMG is doing just a really great job in introducing more people to its product line by building a really fantastic entry-level car in the C63, pricing it so that the buyer really can't say no, and preparing for a whole new generation of owners to graduate to their more expensive models in the future.

If that was the intention, then job well done! It's hard to imagine driving another car now with "normal" levels of horsepower and torque.

I agree with Norb; I don't mind driving a car that is discreet. As long as I have that engine with that sexy Sahara Beige interior, I'm happy.

Haha David! Let's start modding

But anyways I do agree with you there are too many c63's in Richmond but what can we expect? There are tons of rich Asian kids here and their mom's drive a ml63 to grocery shopping hehe

Hmm you know 8 c63's eh? Do I count

How the heck can you be discreet when the engine and exhaust roar even when you move gently off the line?
