Guys that recently bought.....
What are you getting the dealers to knock off the MSRP at this time? Went to get the C32 washed last week and ended up taking a spin in a white 63 - they didn't seem to enthused to negotiate all that much off the MSRP????

I literally just bought my car this past weekend and you should have no problem paying about $6000 off MSRP.
If you're looking for the performance package, however, that might be a tougher sell.

I really think getting more than 3k off MSRP is not going to happen. When I bought mine nobody was getting any discounts, but there also were no cars on the lots. I think you can get 3k off if you try hard enough and find the right dealership.

New car buyers who are willing to buy off the lot can really get a good deal these days.
This car for example can be had for ~$59,000 + sales tax/titling fees:

It's a 2009-1 though. If you're on the East Coast, I can also point you in the direction of a dealer that will give you a similar deal on a couple of Iridium Silver 2009-2 models.

One with 4 wheels
4k, and yes just totally depends on who your talking to. Negotiating skills is all it takes. Best advice if you can front cash out of your pocket to get some money taken off MSRP. Also, work the guy in by coming a couple of times and saying that you went to other places and found amazing deals... etc
Merc dealers are typically more willing to work with you if you tell them:
"The BMW dealer is offering me insane deals on a new M3! Can you guys match that?"

I'm seeing some pretty nice deals on ebay motors, but it looks like they're not offering financing. I'm wondering if I could just go to the dealership and try to buy it like that instead of paying for it in full before the car is shipped to me.

CLS63 AMG & C63 Cab
I paid 49k for mine brand new. I don't know how i did it, but they couldn't move any cars so they just wanted to get rid of it for what it cost them i guess.

Great price! Even though it's stock, you could add some pretty nice aftermarket stuff for the $11k you saved on packages.

I posted up in another thread in this section the MMR of the 2008's and 2009's-its a good guide-if you or the dealer needed to replace a vehicle-MMR plus transport fees, ect (figure max $800 over) is what it would cost-remember that area/location, and color play into these-here in MN a C63 in the winter is dead weight-the dealer wants it sold-now in Spring-they are getting more money as more buyers are out shopping-
a Black car with MN salt and Sand wont sell-but White and Siver are popular here, ect ect ect-blah blah blah
hope it helps!

I paid $800 more than you for a new car. I think you can do better.

I ordered mine and its still being built (February). I got about $2500 off but if you get one off the lot you'll probably do much better. In my area, we have to special order them so that how it goes here.

I just bought a 09 Mars Red with Black, Carbon Fiber Interior, every option except Performance Package. MSRP $73K, I got it for $64K plus tax and tags. I also bought a 09 GL550 at the same time. That one was MSRP $85K and I got that one for $77K.
