C63 with Michilin PS2 tires
here are my options:
1. keep front and buy new set of rear PZero.
2. Michelin PS2 all around.
But my question to you guys who run on PS2: how is PS2 tread wear compared to PZero? how long does PS2 last?
Because if I get the same mileage from a PS2 as PZero, I think I will go for Nitto NT05.
thanks in advance for any inputs or suggestions!
EDIT: my friend's E92 M3 has 12k miles with PS2 tires, tread still looks new!

the thing is there are many variables to tire wear issue of our cars. car itself, massive torque, and then stock Pzero tires. Im not sure if I replace them with PS2, tread wear will improve or not. I dont expect a significant improvement, but 8k miles is fine. I dont want to spend 700 on Pzero rear tires(include mount/balance) every 4k miles.

The PS2's are a great tire, I ran last year's One Lap of America with a 01' M3 AA Supercharged (500HP) car I purchased them heat cycled from Tire Rack. We did 8000 miles in all including daily track events and when we got the car back to Active in Miami they still had ton's of tread left. Needless to say I came away really impressed and with a class win, 8th overall, and top BMW in the event.
I went with the Toyos on the C63 figuring they would be shot in 6k miles anyway. So far they seem to have as much grip as the Pirelli's but the sidewall is a bit softer so there is a bit more deflection. Depending on your driving style you may or may not even notice a difference. Of course my Pirellis were effectively slicks for so long acually having tread on the tire could be what I am feeling.

for my style of driving I did not feel good driving them went back to the contact 3's but the perelli's are my next choice

Initial thoughts, softer, quieter ride. More flexible sidewall feel. No traction opinion yet, 60 miles in ( had a set of nexens once that u could feel the slickness right away, like hard compound dunlops)
Very happy with them after 3k miles on the set on the sl tho.
Anybody heard about the michelin supersport
It replaces the PS2. Actually it's closer to the sport cup.
according to michelinabout 10% better performance in every category plus a mileage warranty 30000 miles. 15 000 miles for the rears since you can't rotate them.
a little less costly than PS2 too.
check it out.
That's what's going on my C63 next time I need tires
If your choice is between the PS2's and PZeros I would go with the Michellins. But choosing tires in general I would go for the Hankooks because of the Price/Tread wear/Performance combo.
