tires for c63
just had to replace my two rear tires, Pirelli p-zeros, after approximately 5,000 miles. When the front tires need replacing I am going to switch all four to a harder tire that will last more then 5,000 miles. Just wondered if anyone has any good suggestions.
P.S with this car, drive slower should not be one of the suggestions!!!!

I paid $796 installed at Discount for 4 Eagle F1 All Season tires. I took the price from Tirerack, adding shipping, printed it out and took it to Discount. They honored it and even beat Tirerack on some line items. I also went to Sears and they were going to beat Tirerack plus give me an additional 10%. I decided to go with Discount though because I didn't get a good vibe from this particular Sears locations.

Based on some recommendations from here, I bought 2 Sumitomo HTR Z III in 265/35/18 for $318 from TireRack for the rears. Replacing the P Zero's at 3500-4000 miles.
Fronts are still good.

Read the reviews that have been posted on the Tire Rack website for specific tires that you are interested in. There is a great deal of first hand feedback available for most tires.

I replaced my tires w/ Toyo T1-Rs and went up in size to 245 front & 265 rear (18's). These tires are great (handling, traction-wet & dry) w/ a lot more treadwear as well. You can launch like crazy w/ these. It costs about $800-$900 for all 4. Best tire for the buck, period!

use tirerack or discounttire to find out the price for the tire that you want. Then you can go to your local tire shops and ask them to match their price, some shops might do it. good luck!

I was asking since Tirerack doesn't sell Toyo tires and was curious where he got them. I'm also interested in the Toyo tires.
