+1 ECU tune is an HP Option not a Mod so should count as Stock

Can't forget that M5 responds well to mods too, a simply mod like a pulley + ECU can net 50hp+ and it will trap around 120mph in the 1/4 mile or very close to that. Tuned C63 vs stock M5 is not really a fair comparison, but if it was tuned C63 vs tuned M5, my money is definitely on a tuned M5.

Dunno about that... Z06 is about half the price and would destroy an M5 past 100MPH or anywhere else.

This is true and ive seen the z06's pulling mid to high 10 second 1/4 mile passes with no NOS bone stock on dot's .

How much hp do you think the C63 would gain from a pulley+ECU?
Does anyone know where I could get a pulley?

The 6.3 engine has been out for awhile now. I'm surprised no tuner's tinkering with NOS...

I doubt if the market is there for NOS on the 6.3 engines.

There are a few guys with the Dinan stroker engine. I don't know what they are running in the quarter, but would wager they would run in the 11's...

If I'm not mistaking the MHP Bmw m6 runs faster then the dinan stroker and RNA runs a 11.8 so what's the m5 run 11.9. Haha

To say his car was modded is understating it... You could probably buy a C63 for the aftermarket mods put into that thing.

You hit the nail on the head. Speed has a direct relationship with dollars spent regardless of what you start with be it an M5, C63 or Civic. Money pushes the weight down the track.

+1

Well said, with the right amount of money... almost any car is faster than an M5
