c63 vs m5
stock vs stock, which car is quicker?
I know our cars do between 12.1-12.4 @ 114mph+-, but i cant seem to find much info on the m5. are they alot quicker then us? i have a friend who wants to run, im just curious to know if i would be beaten.

Stock North American M5's without LC are around
12.30 @ 116 mph if he gets a good launch
but
12.50 @ 115 mph seems to be the average.
M5's trap a bit higher then C63's but there 60 foot is usually over 2 seconds.
You should be able to take him till about 185 KM/H then his gearing and HP advantage will let him start to walk on you.
Keep us posted and run him somewhere safe.

I think its a know fact that the M5 is the 4 door king of the autobahn. It's gearing allows for crazy pickup past 100MPH. I dont think there's any car under 100K that has the acceleration capabilities of an M5 past 100MPH. Now getting to 100 MPH is another thing my butt dyno still thinks that my Evo is faster to sprint to 100 than my C63. Or should I say my wife's C63. Damn automatic, since she can drive it she decided it's her car now

Yeah, I think that the C63 would also lose to the Bugatti. Oops, why am I comparing the C63 to a way more expensive car? Guess I just read the last few posts and realized everyone else is doing it why not me.
Guys, at least compare the car to the same direct competition cars - not cars costing 30%-50% more. I'd be really pissed if my 100k car got beat by a 65k car - although it comes pretty f!@##n close. That's good enough for me.

It is a very close race... I beat the M5 when I raced one up to 100mph, at speeds past 100mph the V10 has an advantage as it began pulling on me...
I think the C63 is faster at lower speeds and acceleration. But the M5 might be faster off a roll...

As everyone said, I think stock for stock would be pretty even up to 100mph. Then the C63 gets walked after that.
