So did someone say that they are getting 18 mpg in a C63? That's impossible.

When I sat at my computer today I planed on writing a rambling post about the fact that although my C63 is a good car, I am still pissed at MB, AMG and my dealer for srewing me with my pp package and how it took them 3 times to get ok, that this car eats tires, sucks gas, and I can't fit a set or rims on that have a decent rear lip.

Then I read this thread and it is one of the funniest ever. Some other threads on this forum are not only bashing the original post but the thread as a whole. But, I laughed out loud while reading this and I am going to save my rants for later or maybe just the AMG's forum.

There was a day when your SHO was a true envy of mine. Did you have that new in '89? I still get the jitters when I see one on the road today. I never drove one, and I'd trade my C63 with an '89 SHO for a day.

Dude, all you have to do is unplug 4 of the spark plugs so the motor runs on 4 cylinders. You'll get 28 mpg easily then. Only thing that sucks, when you want to race a CTS-V or an E63, you have to pull over first and plug in the cables.

Or just wrap it around a tree and call the insurance company. Get gap insurance and your golden. If you add additional insurance for upgrades done to the car, you may make some money.
