Well, the car is not used but you should frame the argument as such for the price. The reason being is that once you buy the MY2009 car when MY2010 is so close of being out, the car is going to lose close to a year worth of value once it is out of the dealer's lot. This really isn't such a good thing unless you are keeping the car for at least 5 years.

hey guys, there is a 2000$ green levy tax, is that the "gas guzzler" tax?
if so, i found an article saying that the sticker price of the car should include this tax.
When are the 2010 models hitting showrooms?
i need to arm myself with a few points to make sure i get a better price.
she mentioned that they delivered 2 other c63's this month with no negotiation, but those were ordered cars, not in stock.
and how many c63's in canada?

came back from lexus. will be buying my mom a small suv, so we went to look at the glk, ml, rx350. looks like she likes the lexus better.
so if i can get both cars, they will give us 1800 off each car, and the interest rate is better.
mercedes is not budging on the car.
i'll decide this week and pick up the car next week. in the end the lexus is gonna cost me less than a base c63 and my lexus will be with navi.
so if i can get both cars, they will give us 1800 off each car, and the interest rate is better.

in the class of C63's versus M3's versus IS-F's, etc., price comparing, IHMO, should not be a factor. pick the car that suits you best, then negotiate the best deal for that car.

oh boy. ok, here it goes...if you're buying a car to get you from A to B, then price comparing is sensible. for example, hyundai versus honda.
in the class of C63's versus M3's versus IS-F's, etc., price comparing, IHMO, should not be a factor. pick the car that suits you best, then negotiate the best deal for that car.

IS-F is a bad call... The interior technology is the only advantage it has over the C63, and the only thing that matters is the NAVI. Push button start and rear cameras are all pointless, unnecessary and should not determine anything IMO...
The interior may seem nicer but I have a friend who has one and it really is very tacky. The C63 may be plain, but it seems more classy and simple, the IS-F interior was just over done IMO...
Out of the 3 cars (M3, C63, and IS-F) the Lexus falls in last place in every category, besides navi functionality, because the M3 has all that other technology also. You can get crazy deals on M3's right now also (I like the coupe better) So I just don’t understand why you would want the IS-F over the Bimmer or Benz in this case... don’t just buy it cuz your getting an suv at the same time, an extra 5-6g's will be worth it especially cause your getting a better car all around with the other 2. Definitely drive all 3 before you buy and you will see for yourself...

The ISF looks like every body part is a last moinute thought, the front and rear valance look disporportianate to the rest of the car, the "quad" pipes are fake as only two pipes are real, the interior looks too chinzy as well, but I guess if you are getting a better deal with navi then go for it,
I am very surprised that you couldnt get a deal on two nercedes vehicles in Ottawa, my dealer in Ottawa has accomodated me very nicely.

hey guys, there are other factors at work here. My uncle is very close to a major dealership family, and they do not have mercedes. I'm going to get an even better deal on the lexus than i thought, i'm waiting on a call.
there are no deals on m3's here. and they have 9.25% interest rate.
Mercedes has a 2000$ gas guzzler tax on it.
Lexus has for me a better interior, still a fun car to drive, easier to control vs. mercedes.
In my day to day i do a lot of driving, and fuel economy however abismal is important to me.
I personally don't like the m3 that much, and another friend just picked up a coupe last night. So thats 5 people i know with an m3. All brand ****** lol.
I love the benz, but at this point with our connection my deal will be even sweeter and having a fun car + money in my pocket is a plus.
I was going to sacrifice a lot for comfort also with c63, those seats are really tight, i opened the bolster all the way too.
anyways, i will think it over on the weekend.
all i remember from driving the c63 is the car is a monster

I dont think M3's are such a great deal anymore...people have said for a while you can get a steal on one, I went to the dealer the other day and the deals sucked, still nowhere near as bad as AMG's but still bad.
Get the car you like the best. Ignore price. If your buying a new car in this class prepare for massive depreciation no matter which way you go, may as well enjoy it on your way down.

You'll get frustrated with the Lexus NAVI as it is pretty much useless if you are driving. Plan on pulling over anytime you want to make a change to a destination or setting. The electronanny won't let you do anything while the car is in motion. I don't now about the C63 NAVI, though.
